"Argue not with fools, frauds, fops, and fanatics. Seek instead better companions." ——– "Any man who tries to change the world is either a fool or a dreamer. Some men are both! Pity them because the world reviles them!"

This morning when I finished my look at the news of the world, I admit to not knowing where to start. There are so many issues that cry out for attention: Sri Lanka, Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza, Israel, Pakistan, the Pope’s fraud, the economic crisis, global warming, swine flu, violence against women, Zionism…the list goes on and on and gets longer and longer.
Now that I am semi-retired I never plan my days. When someone asks what I am going to be up to I say, ” I don’t know. I’m just going to open the door and follow my feet. I think you’re doing a great job of that with your blog. Just let your thoughts run free and your fingers resting on the keyboard will be quick to follow. Another thought. Impotence is a state of mind. Simply move to another state. Ha!
VR2, I’d like to move to another state: one of peace, one of love, one of caring. I guess planet Earth is not where I’ll find it.
Therese, I think the person who observed that life was an inherently disappointing experience got it right. Perhaps children should be taught this from birth. Then, as good things happen, as they inevitably do, they will be overjoyed!
Yes – so right VR2 ” going through the door and >> follow my feet << ”
yes – - that’s a good idea, that’s what I will do … without trying to change [horses in midstream – because – its dangerous) if you’re messed up in doubts, about what to do next, as I were years ago, when I slammed / throbbed / rapped my food into the door post ! – at a time when I was very buzy, not knowning ‘way to go’, to finish up , what resulted in a broken toe which took six weeks of recovery..
That was stupid.
I wish a enjoyable day for all.
