Pope: “Clerics, Unite Or Perish!”

Friends, the Pope has urged the religiously inclined to stick together otherwise the force that is religion could suffer.

On his tour through the holy lands, the Pontiff has been seeking reconciliation with Muslims. ” Religious divisions will bring us clerics undone,” he is reported as saying in a Mosque.

“If we are to continue to take people to the dry clean…er, heavenly glory, we can’t have them questioning what we say or asking how come we live in palaces and wear such fancy clothes or asking why are there are so many different religions with every single one of them claiming that they are the true one! Doubt is the enemy of all religions, I tell you. It must be stamped out!” he implored.

He went on to say, “We, who are God’s/Allah’s servants must patch up our quarrels for our common good. We must consider our respective flocks, poor things, and continue to be their shepherds and lead them to righteousness and promise them life everlasting even if we can’t provide a jot of evidence that there is such a thing as heaven or God/Allah.”

He finished his sermon by shouting, “Disunity is death. We have a common history. History shows that millions have been taken in by us, God/Allah rest their souls. We must continue our mission to make them think we can save them from hell and make them think that their manifold sins, and ours, are forgiven.” He was seen to sob a little.

The Pope will not visit Gaza during his Odyssey. He doesn’t want to upset the Jews who are also his clerical brothers.

He is also upset by seeing death and destruction though he has seen it on television in the Vatican.

  1. Neorealism — that is what you have given us in this photo and article. Grotesque, in so many ways! Since there is a shortage of Catholic priests, I wonder if he will let the popular priest who openly has a mistress in the news, stay. Inquiring minds want to know.

  2. Stop it you’ll go blind” Indeed. If anybody wants to know why people are starving killing each other etc etc etccccccccccc. Well the above is your answer.

That so called sane people believe any of the clap trap these shysters spruik, is beyond comprehension.Still I for one will no longer put up with it, my neighbor who I occasionally imbibe with started to wax lyrical about the mythical man in the sky. I told him to F.O. I’m done with this arrant nonsense.

  3. Phill and Therese, I think even the Pope realizes the game is up! That’s why he’s trying to pull the religions together, pretend there is a common purpose. Each religion only has one purpose: that of exploiting their flock and taking as much of their money as possible. Altar boys are an optional extra!

  6. Well said, David.
What confuses me most is the Pope’s silence over the Palestinian suffering.
He has not uttered one single word of sympathy with the Palestinians in his many sermons there. No word has been about Israeli occupation of their land or about Israel’s violations of their basic human rights.
So, why this guy is here in the first place and what he really wants to achieve in his visit?!
    No one knows!

  7. Here is a man who is supposed to represent a loving god making nice with mass murderers. Make perfect sense only if you are insane.
Of course the catholic church has a long history of the same kind of behavior from it’s beginning so I suppose in some way it does make sense.

  8. Phill, it never ceases to amaze me that some folks find that option attractive, even desirable. Cleaning a blocked sewer line is preferable!

John, cardboard cut-outs is a brilliant image.

Prometheus, what he wants to achieve is to try to present the three religions as having something in common. They have of course. The three of them are fraudulent!

Jeannie, the Pope is a man who loves luxury and power. He is the CEO of a gigantic, wealthy enterprise, one that takes from the poor to build palaces and makes promises that can’t be kept!

  9. Prometheus,
the pope failed AGAIN. He abandoned all his Kristian flock in Palestine. The Krazy Kristian Killers (KKK) conveniently forget that Kristians live in Palestine. We need to separate from these destructive religions. Judeo-Kristian value system allows white phosphorus use on civilians. They are MONSTERS!
