
Friends, the powerlessness of people like you and me is absolute. The only real power we can exert comes when we vote and that assumes we are intelligent and educated enough to vote responsibly and we haven’t been told a barrel full of lies or haven’t been promised a barrel full of money or the voting machines are legitimate.
No, our world is being controlled by the following main groups: the imperialists, the religious, the corporate, the political, the wealthy, the media, the legal, the educational, the medical and the financial. There are of course other groups like the Zionists who are also in there battling to fulfill their selfish ambitions.
Sometimes these groups have similar goals and will work together to achieve their aims and sometimes they will work alone. They each use a variety of methods: lying (Weapons of Mass Destruction), bribing, force, threats, indoctrination, fear (War on Terror), blackmail, murder, torture, war, etc.
If our world is ever to become a better place these selfish groups (or nations) must be eradicated or neutralized. They must be replaced by groups (or nations) who have as their main objective the betterment of all mankind and the protection of the planet. This requires cooperation and sharing not competition.
We, the people, have it within our power to get rid of these groups. Why? Because there are more of us! Many more. There are probably six billion of us and a half a billion of them. That’s one of them to thirteen of us! The odds are in our favour!
It’s time to depose the Pigs who are running our World Farm for their exclusive benefit!

You don’t actually believe that the powers that be would allow the people to decide on something as important as who the next President should be do you?
And if that’s the “…only real power” you feel we have – which we do not – then we have zero power….

mmmm…. nice try. i won’t hold my hand on my ass waiting for anything to happen. folks here in the states are for sure that they did what they had to do by voting. we ‘won’ by voting out an administration that had to leave (legally) anyway. yeah us!

Kate, I agree the Electoral Colleges are a mystery to we who live in the rest of the world. But then, giving a President so much power is a mystery too!

I am just not sure that rebellion would work. It was tried in Thailand last year and the result was a violent and bloody defeat for those trying to make their country more open and democratic.
Here in the US there is a bill in congress that would build detention centers in the country to hold american citizens in event of civil unrest. The government in late 2008 also brought home troops from Iraq to be used against their own citizens if those citizens are ever brave enough to rise up against the government that is destroying them.
If our troops won’t turn against us there are always the mercenaries of Blackwater to do the job.
How do you defeat those forces without becoming as violent as they are?
They don’t care who they kill or how much destruction they create to get and keep what they want.

Jeannie, freedom is something that is worth fighting for, even dying for. The French Revolution brought some casualties but the corrupt Royalty who had the army were thrown out and a whole new system, that of democracy, was created.
The neo-Royalty, who control our world with lies, indoctrination and fear-mongering, could be defeated just as easily if the people had the will.

Don’t march into the internment camps like sheep.
Make them work to kill you.
Take as many of them with you as you can.
Have a plan & start stashing away what you need.
If there is a public emergency & they tell you to congregate somewhere for humanitarian aid, I would be suspicious & probably try to avoid said congregation point.
That’s as far as I’ve gotten with this, but it’s definately on my mind since Katrina.

what is happening here is that the gov. has everything set up for martial law, the internment facilities, $$$ for more internment facilities on military bases, bringing the troops home from Iraq to patrol the southern border while telling us that more people cross the Canadian border illegally, arresting people who peacefully demonstrate + high unemployment & high food prices.
What I am actually doing is planting a bigger garden & keeping food for my dogs & cat in a good supply.
Hopefully I’m just paranoid, but the handwriting is on the wall & government control is blowing in the wind.

The Vietnamese, literally lived under the ground in order to survive America’s military. We have a history of an Underground Railroad, but it was beneath the Earth mostly in name only. I have been buying extra dry goods when I shop now. I joke that I am like a Mormon with a year’s supply of food. Really maybe a month’s worth. Ever since they ran out of rice two years ago and were rationing it on the supermarket shelves, I knew this was just the first sign of food shortages that could come. I am going Thursday to join a group of locals that grow permaculture gardens in their yards. The goal is to create a natural ecosphere that yields enough organic food to feed your family and participate in giving the rest to low income people. I know from experience that when you are down and out, if you can eat, you can think your way out of most situations. What Kate says about the internmet camps is right and the writing is on the wall. Thanks to Art also for printing our Rights and a Revolution is becoming more evidently appropriate every day. They just cancelled the Adam Corrolla show in the mornings. He was the only morning jock who talked about real things and empowered people. An award winning show with high ratings -Gone with one day notice.

Hey, Grace and Kate, your actions suggest that you are preparing for the worst. It can’t hurt and if things really do go bad you’re prepared at least in the short term.
If only we hadn’t given up our sustainable lifestyle and embraced the cancer that is capitalism. Most folk are ill-prepared to become self-sufficient. We’ve been training for specialized ‘jobs’ so that the rich could become richer!

If our collective unconscious contributes or causes our reality then we has all better look for solutions that are evolutionary and that may well be the real
‘new revolution”. However, that being my viewpoint- I am knew to computer exchange of said viewpoints and want to know how other subscribers to this site think. What are helpful economic changes we can do to be prepared for these best and worst of times? If Wall Street and the Stock Exchange have lost any useful function for the majority then this collapse is inevitable–other economic thoughts–barter? We really need to focus as the majority and not get too distracted with the surface appearances…fear drives narrow viewpoints.

Kate, the Robber Barons will do anything to ensure that the capitalist system survives. Wall Street is the largest Casino in the world and the ones who run it and feed off it are little better than conmen and criminals. Who else would think of packaging up parcels of toxic loans and on-selling them to other conmen and criminals?

Because of the psychopathic nature of valueless corp. entities I have a hunch that there will be chemo applied to the cancer—and like most chemos it detroys healthy cells along with the out of control cancerous ones…the world will be unable to choose death and so I think things will change..it is impossible to predict with any accuracy beyond the short term view (which is why everyone is running around with chicken little crying) however I have hope for the long term forecast–call me an optimist but I think it is pragmatic to see and create the best screnario..
