Serenity: Does It Exist For Humans?

serenity

Serenity is so precious, yet it’s difficult to find in our frantic world.

Some spiritual people say it comes from deep within us.

Others claim it resides in the natural world.

Does the prize of peace await the

Patient seeker?

George is one of my heroes, Coco! The convey is a heartening sign that the tide is turning against Israel.

    I really hope so.
There are/emerge thanks (god), a lot of great shining people in between (in all this mess) .In addition to George (my hero too) I want to mention Lauren Booth, PressTV, a woman emanating warm human love, care and compassion.
sends all my love, and ” viva Palestine.” from Denmark.

  3. The passion for Gasoline-powered entertainment machines is synonymous with the American. Makes serenity a scarce commodity. Ironically, they seek out the most serene locations on earth. Many get their kick out of going places where they should not, such as on hiker only trails and such as destroying a beautiful mountain meadow. Have seen many such.

  4. John, glad that some people in the world admire George. It gives me hope!

Ken, I remember in Canada trying to enjoy the serenity of walking through snow-covered pine forests while avoiding being run over by Skidoos.

And when I was in my sailing period, it was so great when moored to have large power boats with their sound system turned right up or jet skis roaring among the moored boats.

What do they say? Empty vessels make the most sound.

  5. i think it does- in small doses. humans in groups tend to be a bit greedy, selfish and violent. i am feeling fairly content these days :) but it’s usually just me and the cats in my sanctuary.

It’s a path each one of us must tread, Betmo. There’s no one-size-fits-all! Cheers.
