Does The Israel lobby Run America?

skullcap

Just who is pulling his strings?

Friends, Al Jazeera carried an interesting article today which demonstrates just how powerful the Jewish Lobby is in America. It seems it even manipulates the selection of candidates for top jobs in any Presidential Administration.

Charles Freeman, once a US ambassador and currently president of the Middle East Policy Council think-tank, had been invited by Obama to chair the US National Intelligence Council. This body produces assessments of security issues like say that posed by Iran or North Korea. He agreed. Of course, like all appointees, he has to undergo a vigorous vetting procedure. Unfortunately, in the past, he has made some comments critical of Israel.

Yesterday he withdrew his nomination claiming that he had been subjected to a “barrage of libelous distortions” of his record by the Israel lobby in the US. He said, “The libels on me and their easily traceable email trails show conclusively that there is a powerful lobby determined to prevent any view other than its own from being aired. The tactics of the Israel lobby plumb the depths of dishonor and indecency and include character assassination, selective misquotation, the wilful distortion of the record, the fabrication of falsehoods, and an utter disregard for the truth.”

Does that sound familiar? Is that worrying? Given Israel’s intention to nuke Iran it should be.

Blogs The Sheeple Hate!

sheeple2

Proudly, my blog is one of them!

Friends, we live in a world where the reality is that we lurch from crisis to crisis.

We have global warming. We have an economic and financial meltdown. We have Israel threatening to nuke Iran and the war in Afghanistan is about to be stepped up. We have North Korea talking war against the South and China harassing U.S. ships in the China Sea. We have the U.S. still engaging in hegemony and still spending gazillions of borrowed dollars on their Armed Forces, etc, etc.

But do the Sheeple worry about these things? No way. They may have concerns for their jobs or possible foreclosure but, in the main, when they blog, whether as blog authors or commenters, they don’t want to face reality. They want to be fed pap, engage in trivialities, small-talk. They embrace the herd-instinct warmly and, if an outsider dares to question their pet beliefs or their heavy indoctrination they join together like a group of mongrel dogs at a tip and attack!

My blog, as you would all know, is not a blog for sheeple. It makes them feel uncomfortable. Most of the blogs that I comment on are not for sheeple! I try to avoid sheeple blogs because there are important issues in the world that need urgent attention (though, occasionally, I do visit a couple of sheeple blogs more out of habit than interest – I usually wish I hadn’t!).

How do thinking people tell which blogs are sheeple blogs? First thing to do is to look at the post titles. If you see posts about men’s deodorants or heavyweight boxers or singers, leave quickly. These are not world issues. These are not serious issues. These are time-wasting sheeple issues written by folk with small minds.

Are Humans Capable Of Caring?

caring1

Friends, after my announcement that I think I’m a misanthrope, I came across this photograph.

It lessens my fears about humans, my concern about human evil and depravity, at least temporarily.

Hope you like it as much as I do!

Peace!

Is The Tide Turning Against Israel?

daviscup

Friends, there are some heartening signs that some people think that Israel went too far in its recent bloody genocide in Gaza. The photograph above (Al Jazeerah) shows a Davis Cup match in Malmo in Sweden. You’ll note that the only people in the audience are two policemen.

The reason for the empty stands is that Sweden couldn’t guarantee the safety of the Israeli players. Apparently, about 7,000 Swedes held an anti-Israeli protest in the city and they began to march towards the venue. They were joined by 100 masked protesters who began to throw eggs, tomatoes and rocks. Confrontations began between the protesters and the police. So the authorities, fearing violence in the stands, banned all spectators and the players played to an empty venue!

Of course, this incident relates to the recent Women’s Tournament in Dubai when an Israeli female player was denied entrance to the competition in protest over the Israeli brutality in Gaza. Then in Mauritania, the Israeli Ambassador and all his staff were given their marching orders and told to leave within 48 hours. Mauritania acted in accord with Qatar who also cut ties with Israel over the Gaza genocide. They join Venezuela and Bolivia who recently severed all ties with Israel.

Who Is Pulling Your Strings?

manipulator

Friends, there is absolutely no doubt that every single human being on earth is having their strings pulled by others. The image shows a baby that is playing a piano accordion with its feet whether it wants to or not!

Whether it’s by parents, a spouse, a lover, one’s children, unions, the Government, a religious institution, a community, the media, the advertising industry, corporations, etc, there are lots of significant others who have a vested interest in pulling your strings.

They use a lot of strategies. They can play on your emotions, make you feel guilty. They can get into your mind and fill it with all manner of false thoughts that cause you to act just the way they want you to. They can cajole, they can threaten, they can promise, they can trick. Their means always justify their ends.

How much of your life is self-directed? How much of your life is a mindless dance orchestrated by others? Are you fulfilling your destiny or a destiny written by others for their profit? Why don’t you sit down and make a list of all those who are pulling your strings. Get a large piece of paper because you might be surprised at the number.

Once you have compiled your list then ask yourself this question: Do I want to engage in this dance any longer? Is it making me happy? Am I fulfilling my human potential or am I just a meaningless pawn in game played by others?

Coming Out: I Think I’m A Misanthrope!

misanthrope

Friends, a terrible thought has crossed my mind. I think I’ve become a misanthrope.

I think it happened during a news item concerning the President of Sudan who, wanted by the ICC, apparently ordered his troops to rape children as young as ten. Needless to say they complied with his request with gusto as have other troops from other African nations who happily chop off their enemies’ limbs and also engage in pack rape, etc. Of course, white soldiers also engage in rape and torture. Usually, they are more discreet.

But it might have come when I saw Gordon Brown being given standing ovations during his address to both houses of Parliament in America. He toadied up to the Yanks in the hope that some of their polite enthusiasm (remember, they have few friends) might rub off on him, might increase his popularity at home. Why? Keep in mind that his country is sliding into bankruptcy and he, as an ex-Treasurer, doesn’t know what to do about it (along with Obama and many, many others).

Then again it might’ve occurred when news from the Middle East confirmed that Clinton is still lecturing Iran and elevating Abbas from Traitor to Messiah! She did of course, issue a mild rebuke to Israel about their building of settlements but then that’s been going on for decades (as has their occupation of Palestine) with complete American support which includes the supply of unlimited armaments and munitions which Israel uses to create shock and awe when ever it feels like it.

Says It All, Really!

peresclinton

No, this is not a wedding photograph! Or is it?

It is important that the United States always underscores our unshakeable, durable and fundamental support for the state of Israel,” the honest broker, Hillary Clinton, said after holding talks with Shimon Peres, the Israeli president, on Tuesday. The Reuters’ photograph clearly shows the incestuous closeness that exists.

That the U.S. supports an imperial power like Israel, one that has occupied another people for sixty years and stolen much of their land to say nothing of their continual collective punishment of the Palestinians and their recent genocide and destruction in Gaza, etc,  is not surprising.

After all, the U.S. is an imperial power itself, one that favours genocide, shock and awe, invasion and occupation, nuclear weapons and the stealing of land and resources belonging to others.

A Palestinian State? Forget it! It’s not in the imperial plans of either Israel or America.

And Iran? You’ve heard of dead men walking, haven’t you?

Do you really think that the election of Obama meant the world was going to change, that humans are going to change? Silly you! Forget it! They can’t help themselves.

Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow…

P.S. Clinton looked the same after meeting Netanyahu. What do these Jewish men have? It certainly isn’t compassion or generosity.

Hillary ‘I’ve-nothing-to-hide’ Clinton!

hilarym

“I’m Hillary, American Secretary of State. I’ve come to Egypt to tell you all what to do. As you can see, I have nothing to hide. Nothing.

My total bias towards Israel and America’s total bias towards Israel is legendary. Israel is America’s favorite nation, our God-child if you will. That’s why we give it unlimited weapons so as it can defend itself from the vicious, back-stabbing, oil-hoarding Arab hordes.

Recently Gaza tried to invade Israel firstly by attacking it with fearsome rockets. Fortunately Israel got wind of the invasion plans and, in a brilliant counter-strategy, attacked Gaza before it could mobilize its huge armies.

Little, brave Israel, against the odds, struggled for 22 days and eventually triumphed though the costs were high. Modestly, as an aside, I must say that American weapons and delivery systems triumphed again. We fried the bastards. To a crisp! The war score thus far is: Israel = 25. Arabs = 0. What a mob of losers!

Unfortunately, as Israel defended itself, much of Gaza was flattened and some of its people, well, lots really, got in the road of accidental bombs and bullets and phosphorous munitions. Life is not meant to be easy. So I got together 900 million dollars to rebuild Gaza but none of it will go to Hamas, those bearded barbarians who don’t like Israel even though it gave them Gaza a few years ago and all that fabulous waterfront property.

No, those sand-niggers just don’t appreciate anything, unlike that nice man Abbas who is on our payroll…sorry, who is working hard to get his people, the decent ones, a homeland, one that Israel can continue to completely control…er, to guide, for their own good of course.

It’s All About Jobs?

PT013192

Are you in this photograph?

Friends, I heard a conservative politician say this morning that, in the current economic and financial crisis, it’s all about jobs, that creating jobs and keeping jobs is the number one priority. Of course, even if we weren’t in a dire situation, she would’ve still said the same thing.

Not unsurprisingly, I disagree. Surely life should be about more than jobs. I mean, consider the donkey above. It spends its life walking around in a circle pumping water. Are we to say that the donkey’s life is all about pumping water, that it is all about walking endlessly around in a circle while blindfolded, going nowhere, that at the end of the day, when it is exhausted and gets a bale of hay, that its destiny has been fulfilled, that its life is complete? That would be nonsensical. Yet, for many humans, their lives, reduced to the basics, is the donkey’s reality too.

We humans have been fed this lie that our life is mainly about jobs since, ignominiously, we burst onto the world stage. In the last few centuries, since industrialization began, we have been encouraged to think that jobs define us, that jobs are the measure of our human success, and the trappings of a job (which allow us to buy houses and cars and Rolex watches) demonstrate to the world what we are and what we’re not! What asinine nonsense!

What has really happened is that we have become two-legged donkeys. We have allowed ourselves to be indoctrinated, to be conned by those who profit from the fact that we have chosen to be little better than donkeys. We too have become mindless, captive producers. In return some cunning, greedy entrepreneur or politician will throw us a meager bale of hay at the end of the day and give us a drink of dirty water while we spend our lives walking around in a circle that goes nowhere and has no end – except death.

Life is not about jobs. A job should be merely a means to an end. It should allow us to enjoy life,  not take most of our time and energy.
