Just who is pulling his strings?
Friends, Al Jazeera carried an interesting article today which demonstrates just how powerful the Jewish Lobby is in America. It seems it even manipulates the selection of candidates for top jobs in any Presidential Administration.
Charles Freeman, once a US ambassador and currently president of the Middle East Policy Council think-tank, had been invited by Obama to chair the US National Intelligence Council. This body produces assessments of security issues like say that posed by Iran or North Korea. He agreed. Of course, like all appointees, he has to undergo a vigorous vetting procedure. Unfortunately, in the past, he has made some comments critical of Israel.
Yesterday he withdrew his nomination claiming that he had been subjected to a “barrage of libelous distortions” of his record by the Israel lobby in the US. He said, “The libels on me and their easily traceable email trails show conclusively that there is a powerful lobby determined to prevent any view other than its own from being aired. The tactics of the Israel lobby plumb the depths of dishonor and indecency and include character assassination, selective misquotation, the wilful distortion of the record, the fabrication of falsehoods, and an utter disregard for the truth.”
Does that sound familiar? Is that worrying? Given Israel’s intention to nuke Iran it should be.
His concluding remarks are extremely dire. “The aim of this lobby is control of the policy process through the exercise of a veto over the appointment of people who dispute the wisdom of its views, the substitution of political correctness for analysis, and the exclusion of any and all options for decision by Americans and our government other than those that it favours.“
Clearly, what he is saying is that the very Government of America is being manipulated by Jewish interests to ensure that Jewish/Israeli interests are at the forefront of American foreign policy.
The Al Jazeera article (please read it all) demonstrates that the Jewish Lobby has a powerful say in who will be appointed to key jobs in the Obama Administration. But keep in mind that they also strongly influence the actions of people in Congress and the Senate through their voting blocks and political donations. And of course, the Jewish Lobby exerts a powerful control over American attitudes to Israel via its dominant ownership of the MSM. And don’t forget they have Jewish and pro-Israeli people in every level of Government and in most think-tanks!
America just completed an interminable election cycle. It chose a Democrat President who promised change. Yet working behind the scenes are these faceless men and women who are not working to make America a better place. They are not working to restore its tarnished image in the world! They are using many means to manipulate a country of 300 million people to ensure that the interests of a few million Jewish religious fanatics in Israel are achieved. Talk about the tail wagging the dog!
The implications of this for the world are worrying. And given what Israel just did to Gaza, there can be no doubt that war and military violence is very much part of Israel’s strategy in the Middle East, war that requires American involvement.
Be very afraid!
There is a very good reason to be afraid when the president of a country with the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world can (be allowed to !) declare nuclear bombardment a possibility.
The World should immidiately put such, what should be seen, a mad/insane person, behind bars – declared INSANE ! because he/she cannot be a sound person, knowing what he’s talking about.
I wonder how it can come that far without any intervention. (from electorates/UNSC)

There are 2 articles about the Freeman “withdrawal” on commondreams.org today, with a lot of background. Well, did anybody seriously believe Obama would have become president without the full approval and support of the Israel Lobby??? Never….

yes this caught my attention too. I get emails from *honest reporting* a zionist organization that moniters the world’s media to catch what they call anti Israel bias. You should see their sidebar of links–they have about 2 dozen groups from Camera to GIYUS that do the same thing.

Dear Friends, it’s breathtaking how such a small group of fanatics are able to wield so much power in a country with such a large, ‘educated’ population. Of course what happens in America is also occurring in other Western countries too!
For the world to survive, the power of the Jewish/Israeli Lobby must be broken and the way to do that is to rouse the sheeple from their ignorance and apathy, present them with the truth!

There does not seem to be anything that Israel cannot do. In Gaza more than 400 children were killed during the invasion and there was no real mention of it on the “news” and certianly no out rage. I kept wondering if 400+ Israeli children had been killed what would have happened. Probably nuclear war with the US helping.
It is scary that such a small, unimportant country can control a country as big and powerful as the US. When I read that it makes me feel even more impotent than usual about the lack of influence that the citizens of my country have to change government policies.

To be fair, President Obama should do a bow before a statue of the Buddha and show similar respectful gestures to other religions. Oh wait, I forgot: Buddhism is against war and violence. I’m not a Buddhist, by the way; I just read about it.

No doubt about it.
One thing I’ve noticed in personal conversations, people donot want to change their opinions about Israel. We’ve been inundated with holocaust stories+ movies, books, articles and the propaganda has sunk into our brains until it is almost a reflex, that Israel having been the focus of genocide, very recently historically speaking, so they could never do what was done to them.
I’m not sure about how propaganda works, but the repetition somehow sticks to the human brain.
It enrages me that the Israelis not only planned for the aggression on Gaza (at least 6 months) but also planned on the hasbara. They are very cynical & they know how to control the press and media.
They not only manage to frame the assault by calling it part of the war on terror but they have the USA public (with our short attention spans) set up to automatically assume poor little heroic victimized Israel, bad, uncivilized terroristic dirty Arab, Muslim, Islamist,take your pick.
I’m very angry at being a fool myself, until maybe ten years ago.
What finally prompted me to pay attention wasn’t dead children or civilians; it was uprooting olive trees that did it for me.

Jeannie, Kristen and Kate, Israel is proof positive that humans are very easily indoctrinated.
It took the Gaza genocide before people suddenly saw what Israel was capable of. It came as a shock to some but not to those who’ve been following the Palestinian issue for the last decade or more.
The collective ignorance of people is mind boggling! Marionettes, in the main, are we.
