I am afraid that the whole world is coming down even if we dig deep. Maybe the economic melt down can be fixed, at least for the rich, but we live on a finite planet and there is only so much oil, natural gas and coal to keep the good times rolling. The use of which lead to climate change which is occuring much faster than anyone had predicted even a few years ago and will cause unimaginable devestation.
We are facing problems that no amount of money will ever be able to fix, that no war can conquer.
The only hope we have is a dramatic change in how we live and share this beautiful planet and hopefully leave something for our children and grandchildren.
Sadly I don’t have much hope.

GM Chief Wagoner destroys the company, while in the process, only surviving temporarily by supplying a niche market with 7000 lb monster polluters, which is a crime in itself, as humans need disparately to be led in such areas as pollution. It needs to be explained succinctly.
He will retire with a $20,000,000 pension. Too bad. Could have been a billion with a bit of creativity. But this is all discretionary funds as his next jet and so on will come from unannounced funds, stock options and all those goodies.

David, JFYI, We have been complaining that what we write about here never gets read by the people who need to read it. Well I tried to remedy that situation recently by posting some things on military.com. As you can imagine it got me banned very quickly. But not as quickly as last time. My posts stayed up for almost a whole day. No shit Sherlock almost a whole day.
That is clearly progress. I do not know if it was an accident because everyone was gone for the weekend, or if there was a secret Santa Klaus on duty. If there was I hope that she did not loose her job. America needs more good women like her.
I sure wished that i could have seen the faces of some of the Neanderthal readers when they began to suspect that the wall of censorship is breaking down. What is the leadership of the military afraid of anyways? Are they afraid that if some people point out how the military
has been making a mockery of their officially stated core values for a very long time that some people might actually believe such an accusation? If the military leadership is so correct then why do they not have any faith that people will just ignore my therapy?
I admit it I think the majority of Americans are stupid and have horrible citizenship skills.
I do not think that even in a fair contest where I was able to get equal time with say Admiral Mullen that my ideas could win a majority opinion with the American people. They would just look at his rank and all the medals on his jest and the game would be over. Fortunately i do not think that insane people should be allowed to vote. By the way I do not vote. I did vote for Ron Paul once a long time ago. Now I see no point in trying to choose between to factions of the same criminal organization.
Why should I be the judge of who is insane and who is not insane? Because it takes one to know one. Still, since there are so many other people qualified for the job I will probably never be appointed to fill the position. (Except maybe in a prison play.)

Destroy Wall Street greed and prosecute the morally bankrupt bankers, they caused this mess and deserve the public’s retribution, not Corporate welfare. Obama has and will make no difference just prolong the inevitable. On the back of change merchants both here and the US, the script is still the same and they will never learn despite all the spin. The misadventure in Iraq is quiet now but this is the eye of the storm, with violence starting to pick up again as insurgents see the end of the road for this occupation, Afghanistan is a lost cause and the only way out of this catastrophe is when America becomes totally bankrupt and has to leave as they cannot afford it. The other benefit of this for the Middle East is that the Jews won’t be getting any more USA AID either, then the shit will hit the fan as Muslims assert their campaign of rectification or known as revenge in the West.
