Are The Sheeple Revolting?

revolution2

Friends, there are a few signs that the Sheeple, that large group of humans who have been mercilessly manipulated and exploited by the Robber Barons and Politicians and the Media, etc, are beginning to revolt. How do I know?

Well, the laws rushed through the Congress to take back  most of the bonuses which were paid to failed AIG executives from taxpayers’ money by imposing 90% taxes, is one of the signs. The Masters of the Universe are getting the message that they have gone too far, that they can’t continue to reward the crooks, that they can’t continue to prop up a system that is corrupt,  one that is based upon inequality and greed, one that is destroying the planet.

Elsewhere in the world, Governments are doing handsprings to show how they care about the working people and are throwing money at anything that moves. They can tell the natives are filled with unease, with fear, as their super, their real estate, their savings, their retirement dreams disappear in the global downturn.

And how else do I know? Well, gun sales have gone up astronomically. It is a growth industry. The sheeple can see that in the not too distant future, people will be fighting hand to hand over scarce food and water and a gun may prove to be helpful in deciding the argument.

And determined protesters have begun to appear across the world.

They were at the recent G20 meeting in Britain where the Masters wined and dined themselves into stomach cramps while the financial and economic world burns. The G20 Princes demonstrated that they don’t have the slightest idea how to solve the current problems other than to try to reinstate the status quo.

And as the demonstrations grow, the police adopt more violent tactics, a sure sign that Governments are worried that the sheeple are becoming angry, might be starting to rebel, might be starting to reject the crap they have been fed for many decades, for centuries. Bread and circuses might no longer be enough.

Even the brutal actions of the Israelis in Gaza have finally elicited worldwide condemnation and even the U.N. is getting seriously involved. Some nations who are usually silent about Israel are beginning to offer criticism for the first time.

Yes, friends, perhaps the sheeple are beginning to revolt. And as more of them become unemployed, lose their homes, begin to live in tent cities, begin to be affected by starvation, the clamor for change, for peace, for a world which is not divided into have and have-nots will grow.

Perhaps the world economic and financial crisis has set the scene for change? Perhaps it will prove to be decisive, a turning point? Perhaps it will bring about the demise of the amoral, selfish parasites who control our world and, wonders of wonders, the emergence of  a world run by the people for the people?

Perhaps? We can but hope!

  1. Hope is all we have. What good is a hunting rifle or a handgun against a automatic rifle or a tank? The government has us, the average citizen, out gunned. We will probably be using our guns to kill each other as we fight for the few remaining crumbs of our collasped economy.
Gaza is a good example of a people determined to fight back and being beaten down in the process. The Palestinians have been fighting for their rights for more than 60 years and all it has gotten them is more misery and death.
I hope I am wrong and that good decent people can remake the world into a place where everyone can live a full rich life, but how do you stop the few who use violence to get what they want without becoming violent yourself.

  2. The bailout ca$h grabs are only the tip of the iceberg. When HR 875 and S 425 go thru the senate without any problem, you’ll find that your food is the next item on the agenda of the Barron Robbers. The small farmer will be driven out of business. Your food will be the sole product of BigAgra – irradiated, chemical-laden, genetically modified. No more organic anything.

  3. Coco, that fact is our saving grace. The Vested Interests, no matter how well-armed they are, can’t control six billion of us. Besides, those who serve the State will not find killing their own citizens, brothers and friends very enjoyable and will surely rebel.

Jeannie, I’m not sure that our Masters really envisage trying to control us by force. They might try to threaten, might even try a few massacres, but I don’t think their heart would be in what would amount to genocide. After all, they’ve controlled us without force for decades.

Amerikagulag, I agree that the grab by BigAgra is a disaster. That’s why I’m advocating that people start to grow their own food where possible. Big ‘anything’ is just an excuse for another corporate monopoly!

    All monopolies should be eradicated.

  4. The bonus things is a giant smoke screen. A bone for the sheep (not grass sheep). Meantime, the 200 billion bailout rolls on.

Any window dressing is that, again. The PRB members have a good laugh at each lodge meeting. The bloggers whine and moan, empty. All pitiful.

The PTB may know what they are doing.

  6. Did anyone hear? George Galloway was denied entry into Canada. He was supposed to give a lecture at the University of Toronto, which i currently attend as a undergraduate. He was going to speak about his tour in Gaza and the reality of the lifestyle of such a defenseless and traumatized population.

So Canada welcomes Bush, aka the war criminal but denies entry to Galloway who has absolutely no proof of terrorist activities; but has proof of helping a defenseless and needy population who have aid restrictions!!

There are even Toronto newspapers and Canadian and British newspapers saying ” Thank You Canada”.
As a Canadian, I say “Shame on the Canadian Government”

Irfaan, welcome. That is the most disgusting, disappointing thing I’ve heard for a long, long, time. I lived in Canada for three years and had two children there. I loved the place and its independent people.

    My, how things can change.

  7. David, we shall see if the plebs man the barricades. Today in Queensland there is an election, this will be indeed a litmus test to see if the sheeple have learned anything. If they put back in government the left overs of what was the most corrupt government in Australia’s history, mainly the ghosts of Bjelke Peterson and Russ Hinze, your theory will need a bit of retuning.

On the other hand, I truly believe the economic meltdown that is on its way, may be scaring the horses and they are grasping at straws.Interesting few months ahead.

  8. Hard to know which way to bet, Phill. There are so many things going on in the world and so many conspiracy theories being advanced it comes down to a guessing game.

However, that things are going to be tough is not an issue.

To be sure David. I am not however into conspiracy theories period. Illuminati, ugly old Jewish caricatures, and skull and cross bone clubs, come out of the minds of simpletons. The fact the planet is on a course for destruction is down to greed and position, all else belongs in books by Hansel and Gretal.

I don’t agree. Congress’ actions were theater designed to try and salvage their worthless reputation. Pelosi’s a worthless tool who isn’t capable of doing anything but reacting to the shenanigans of the Treasury Dept. The bill will never make it out of the Senate and our House of Representatives knows it.

How much disappointment do you think I can handle?

:-) Americans are one thing, our ‘so-called’ elected representatives are a whole ‘nuther can-o-worms. I think a more encouraging sign is the people organizing bus tours of wealthy Connecticut suburbs so that they can protest in front of the homes of AIG executives.

I saw that on CNN the other day, Kvatch. It’s a positive sign at least for those people who can still afford to pay for the bus ride! :-)
