Friends, the nauseating photo shown above shows two of the biggest political losers in the history of the world.
One loser, George W Bush, current President of America, is hanging the United States Medal of Freedom around the neck of John Howard, ex-Prime Minister of Australia who was not only thrown out of office by the Australian people at the 2007 election but lost his own seat as well.
Now, if we look at the achievements and accomplishments of the two losers we find interesting comparisons. John Winston Howard began his Prime Ministership winning an election that P.M. Keating lost. The right-wing Prime Minster sprang into action immediately. His agenda was simple: advantage the rich, screw the workers and use fear as a political weapon. For an encore, he sought to ingratiate himself with all the bigtime right-wing loonies in the world, particularly George W Bush and the Jewish Lobby.
John Winston Howard achieved his right-wing agenda. He locked refugees up in concentration camps, he began to make life increasingly sweet for the rich with generous tax cuts, and he started work on his Work Choices agenda to advantage employers and strip away conditions from working men and women. While he was busy with these worthy objective, after 9/11, he began a servile love affair with George W Bush. Kissing Bush’s bum became second nature to him.
Soon he was visiting the White House frequently and, like a poodle on heat, he followed Bush, firstly to Afghanistan, then to Iraq despite it being against the wishes of the majority of the Australian people. Towards the end, believing he could walk on water, he clung onto office even when, politically, he was totally on the nose. He led his party to the greatest defeat it’s ever had.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, George was being saddled up by the Neocons. George, who can barely put six words together in a comprehensible way and didn’t really know that there were other countries in the world besides America, was soon confronted with 9/11. His favorite sayings were, “Smoke ‘em outa thar holes,” and, “Either yer for us or agin us!” Thus began the reign of the most absurd, incompetent President America has ever had.
Among George’s accomplishments are: scaring American citizens witless, inventing fanciful pretexts for wars, losing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, bringing his country to the edge of bankruptcy and financial ruin, making the rich obscenely rich, becoming the favorite mark of comedians and cartoonists, being a stooge of Israel, making his country the most hated and feared nation in the world, forgetting about the colored people during Hurricane Katrina, introducing torture, trashing the Constitution, taking away the rights of American citizens and spying on them…I could go on and on but I don’t want to make this post too long!
So there they are in the photo, one loser hanging a totally ill-deserved medal around the scrawny neck of the other. They are like two turds floating in a toilet bowl, one big, one small!
It just goes to show how our Masters prop each other up, desperately try to show us sheeple that they actually mean something.
What a joke!
P.S. Howard, in the last few days, has kept Obama out of Blair House it appears. Blair, where have I heard that name? Should there be three turds in the bowl?
I watched this nauseating event also and all I could think about was how I wish that had been a noose!
Bush ran his whole presidential term on the advent of terror. Well, in eight years with limited resources, the federal government was able to thwart any and all attempts at terror on American soil. I’m sorry, I just can’t buy into that lie. I believe if any terrorist organization wanted to, it would not be that difficult to stage even minor attacks. Gasoline an cell phones are cheap and don’t have to be transported across national boundaries. Terrorism doesn’t have to be sophisticated.
Didn’t Blair also get a medal?

David I am lost for words, which is fairly rare for me and that’s for sure..But I gotta tell ya me old China the only thing I despise more than the pictures of these two excuse for human beings, is the toe rags that voted for them. The yanks I can understand, outside of the Ivy League, they are about as bright as ten watt globes most of them. But the one on the right of the photo in more ways than just his position, went against all that is classed as normal behavior in a human being.Your own comments have covered most of it.
His supercilious smile is enough to make me retch my guts up, I am not a homophobe to be sure, but this bastard would look nice in a tutu in some of the greatest ballet schools in the world. He and Tony Blair would be a marriage made in heaven, I will stop now before I get banned from your blog.

On behalf of the very large part of America that exists outside of “the greatest democracy on earth”, I strenuously object! But, coinsidering the roles played by puppets like Canada’s Steven Harper, I suppose the titular award to Bush is an understandable one.

Howard is having a big laugh. Most of us feel the same way about any US medal. Did “‘at a way brownie” get one for New Orleans. What a farce. Any one with any pride would refuse them, considering the connotations. What was George Tenant’s for? Screwing somebody or something in favor of the power, of course.

On behalf of a large part of America that not too long ago held the title “greatest democratic republic on earth”, I too, strenuously object. Gw bush was not elected, but appointed by the Supreme Court, themselves appointees of the sr. bush. The second “election” was so fraught with controversy regarding voting machine hacking and “mis-marking” of ballots that in fact, most world election watch-dog organizations considered it fraudulent at best.
Just a side note, Phill wrote,
“The yanks I can understand, outside of the Ivy League, they are about as bright as ten watt globes most of them.”
Gw bush was an ivy leaguer…

It is unwise to underestimate the intelligence and cunning of one’s opponents. Regardless of whether Bush himself is smart, stupid, or merely a figurehead, it is at least arguable that, throughout his tenure, the ruling cabal in the U.S. (as elsewhere) have been wily enough to achieve much of what they set out to achieve.

Arvy it tells me more about the people that vote for them than it does about our coterie of masturbation stains called western governments. These people are cunning in as much as they play up to the common denominator in most people GREED.
I do not under estimate them, on the contrary I am very afraid of them, as any body should be, especially in the case of Bush who I sincerely believe is deranged.I have also seen many doc’s on American troops in Iraq,no doubt a lot of them would like to be some where else but a lot revel in it.Their hoots of delight when Bush visited the green zone, spoke volumes with there hoorah hoots of delight in his presence and gungho attitudes.
I despair.

I understand, Phill. Believe me. I, too, often shake my head in wonderment at the insistence of both U.S. and Canadian voters on repeating the same tired mistake over and over again. But there is sometimes a tendency to chalk things up to mass stupidity that may be less than helpful to a deeper assessment and understanding.
Yeah, two turds floating in a toilet bowl. Thanks for your remarks here, David G.
