Friends, the President of Bolivia has called for the leaders of Israel to be brought to trial for war crimes being carried out in Gaza. I agree.

The whole lot of them: mouthpieces like Regev, the Army Commanders, the Knesset Cabinet, etc, the whole crazy lot should be shipped off to the Hague, put on trial, then executed.

1,000 plus people have now been killed in Gaza half of them women and kids. Gazans are still being bombed, starved, denied medical treatment, etc, during one of the greatest acts of  inhuman bastardry ever seen.

It is a holocaust, a slaughter!

And the irony is that it took the President of a small South American country to declare what every Government in the world should have been shouting from the rooftops for the last 19 days!

Friends, the nauseating photo shown above shows two of the biggest political losers in the history of the world.

One loser, George W Bush, current President of America, is hanging the United States Medal of Freedom around the neck of John Howard, ex-Prime Minister of Australia who was not only thrown out of office by the Australian people at the 2007 election but lost his own seat as well.

Now, if we look at the achievements and accomplishments of the two losers we find interesting comparisons. John Winston Howard began his Prime Ministership winning an election that P.M. Keating lost. The right-wing Prime Minster sprang into action immediately. His agenda was simple: advantage the rich, screw the workers and use fear as a political weapon. For an encore, he sought to ingratiate himself with all the bigtime right-wing loonies in the world, particularly George W Bush and the Jewish Lobby.

Another American missile finds its mark!

Friends, I’m very disturbed by what I see happening in the Gaza Strip. It seems to me to transcend the level of a local conflict. It seems to suggest something evil about the world we live in, about our world society, about our world political and economic system, about us. Why, you ask?

Here we have a conflict where the media are largely kept away by the bloodthirsty Israelis. Without scrutiny and with impunity they continue to drop explosives on unarmed civilians, thousands of them thus far. Nearly a 1,000 Palestinians have been killed with 40% of them women and children (though when the rubble is cleared away, these numbers will escalate dramatically). 4,300 have been injured.

The plentiful, ultra-modern armaments Israel has and the bombs and missiles they drop are supplied by America, a country that claims to support noble concepts like freedom, human rights and democracy. Yet Israel has occupied the Palestinian Territories for sixty years and has taken away the human rights and freedom of the Palestinians. And now it is killing Palestinian civilians who, under siege and being starved, dared to retaliate.

Friends, sources have revealed that the Israeli Government is launching an advertising campaign which will extend across the world. The text of the advert is not yet finalized but this is a recent draft:

“Civilized People of the world. Because of the heroic efforts of the IDF, Gaza has been brought under complete control. This means we can offer a fire sale of Palestinians, those who are still alive.

Never has there been such a great opportunity to get your very own Palestinian which you can do with as you will (much as we have been doing with them for the last sixty years).

They fall into two main groups: those who are undamaged but somewhat malnourished. Sadly, a much larger group of damaged goods is going at heavily discounted prices depending on how many limbs they have left or how badly burned they are.

Still they fight on!

Friends, I cannot help but admire the bravery and persistence of the Hamas Freedom Fighters as, after sixteen days, they continue to battle against a vastly superior military force armed with the best military armaments that America can provide.

Of course, the Hamas Freedom Fighters, husbands, sons, fathers, uncles, nephews, have a worthy goal, that of freeing their strip of land from the throttling embrace of the fanatics in the State of Israel. They are trying to give their families and children a place where there is freedom, where there is opportunity, where they can move about freely, even visit other countries, something they have never known.

For sixty years the Palestinians have been choked by Israel in one of the longest occupations in world history. They have suffered unimaginable horrors and deprivation and massacres and imprisonment and brutality while the world, led by America, has largely done nothing.

Welcome to the Gaza Killing Fields!

Friends, the photograph above shows an Israeli tank firing shells into the densely populated Gaza Strip where 1.5 million Palestinians live. The intent of the firing is to cause maximum destruction and casualties. The other photographs show the results, certainly not the worst.

Try to imagine if you can the shell leaving the gun barrel and hurtling through the air, its point filled with high explosives or even phosphorous. Imagine a Palestinians family huddled in their home, the children crying from hunger and from fear.

Imagine the shell hitting the home, the shell penetrating through walls until it explodes. In nano-seconds, bodies are being ripped apart, children are decapitated, blood splatters everywhere, people scream, the building collapses. There is silence while the dust clears.

In the tank, another shell is loaded into the gun chamber, the barrel swivels a little, elevates a couple of degrees while the IDF soldiers chat to each other, perhaps tell a little joke, say what they’ll do when they return home to their spouses.

“My name is Israel. I am a serial victim.  I need help!”

“Look, I know that you might find my heartfelt plea hard to believe! But appearances can be deceptive, you know. Sure, I’m the forth best bruiser in the world, that I admit, but, gee, each contest is a real effort! It takes all my will, all my strength. I’m exhausted afterwards. Inside I’m scared but people say I never show it. Of course not. I’m a professional!

Being a victim, I only take on dwarfs. Ones with one leg! It’s all I can handle. And, after each encounter, I take weeks to recover. They rarely do, but perhaps I got lucky! People do you know. Even people who were born disadvantaged, on the wrong side of the tracks. My life story would bring you to tears but nothing will allow me to reveal it. Well, perhaps a couple of drinks and a couple of hours might.

Underneath my imposing exterior is the heart of a mouse. Seriously now, my friends think I’m a real  coward, one who wouldn’t hurt a flea. I cry in movies, at anniversaries. I do! I even ring my mother on her birthday. Would I lie? Do you want a knuckle sandwich?

The IDF spares no one!

Friends, I’ve only been home a few minutes and I have a lot of reading to catch up on. But having followed events for the last few days as best I could without the internet, I need to do a quick post, get rid of my anger, my frustration.

One thing is clear to me: the fact that Israel started bombing Gaza a short time after the U.N. Ceasefire resolution was passed with one abstention (the U.S.), once again means that Israel has by given the green light by the U.S. to do whatever it wants to the Palestinians or to anyone else who gets in their road. But given that Israel is armed and financed by America, the real question that should be asked is: who is really responsible for the genocide in Gaza?

Israel, if all American money and arms and military trainers were withdrawn, would fizzle into the meaningless, tiny, anachronistic nation that it really is. It is, to a large extent, a creation of warmongering America, a sharp-edged, nuclear-armed tool of America, a strategic stooge of America with whom it shares religious fanaticism and imperial ambitions.
