Friends, as I watched various news channels this morning I came to the conclusion that the bulk of Israelis are truly deranged. Each one needs months or years of extensive psychological counseling, perhaps supplemented by shock treatment and powerful sedatives. Some need padded cells!
My rationale? Well they are not acting like normal humans and I use the word ‘normal’ in a very broad way. They are obsessed with crazy illusions that they are superior, that their might is right, that they are engaged in some god-imposed mission, that the Palestinians are sub-humans, that Palestinian land belongs to them and any other land that they fancy.
They have Gaza caught in a trap. People with Palestinian passports can’t leave. The Israelis are starving the Gazians. They are relentlessly bombing them, destroying their infrastructure, killing children, civilians. They are readying themselves for invasion and occupation using heavy armor and the latest American military technology. The invasion complete, then they will dispossess the rightful owners, those who haven’t been killed.
Unless they are stopped, they will do all this while convinced they are acting in an entirely rational way, that their motives are pure, that they are simply defending themselves, that they want to live in peace. People who slaughter others and take their land, people who put innocent people of another race under sixty years of brutal occupation DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN PEACE!
Not since WW2 have we witnessed just what fanaticism can do to people’s minds. Hitler, a megalomaniac, worked his evil and brought most of the German people with him, filled their minds with elitist slogans and crazy notions of them being part of a Super Race. They believed him, followed him. They died for him in their millions.
In Israel, we have not one person, but hundreds of megalomaniacs. You see them compulsively bobbing at the Wailing Wall. Some wear Black Hats. Many don’t. They look just like you and me. But in their heads they are not like you and me. They are superior. They are a race apart. They are insane. Their religion has made them so.
The danger posed to the world by a nuclear-armed, deranged Israel is infinite. The insanity which pervades the leadership and most of the people of Israel knows no limits. They can and will justify every act of gross inhumanity they carry out.
And the more they are allowed to achieve their selfish, deluded objectives, the more they will want and nothing but urgent, combined action by the rest of the world will stop them!
Either the world wakes up to Israel and takes away their military power or it faces the consequences of allowing a nation of savage, insane people free reign, people who have nuclear arms and the world’s forth strongest military!
Disarm Israel. Give its people the deep psychological treatment they desperately need before they destroy us all.
So in agreement with you, David G. And even just going by the megalomaniac words of their recent and present leaders, even in these modern times, the Israelis are even worse than what you describe, and Israel Firsters have gained power in so many countries. In my opinion, the Zionist trillionaire bankers of London ARE the crown of England.
I join with you in calling for the end of the occupation of Palestinian territories, in fact, the disbanding and disarming of Israel. What in the hell is wrong with the world? Why isn’t there a way for the UN to ACT against Israel, impose sanctions on it, blockade it, since it is operating in violation of international laws, and all the denunciations and resolutions of the UN against it, have been of no use to the people of Palestine and of Lebanon, that it is persecuting/destroying.
The Jews are not God-chosen people; the Bible is not truth. No more tributary funds from the USA to Israel!

And the USA government, the same that over the holidays, closed medical facilities it provides the Lakotah Indian reservations, while still daily giving Israel $7,000,000, while leading our country into a depression, a deeper one. I do believe that the Israeli population is, to a large extent, deranged. What I can not comprehend is why practically every government in the world is too terrified of Israel to state the obvious, what power does it hold over them to make them so servile to this psychopathic monster? The people are too stupified to know any better but the ruling classes in any country are very good at looking after their own interests, why is being subservient to Israel good for them?

James Petras has been trying to answer Loz’s question, in many of his books about the power of Israel and militarism in the USA, and how we are going downhill fast because of the two. Today, dissidentvoice features his article entitled, “The Politics of an Israeli Extermination Campaign: Backers, Apologists, and Arms Suppliers”. My friends, does not that title just make your skin crawl!? Stop the world, I want to get off.
Oh, and re this matter of the Jews who are exterminating Arabs (Christian, Muslim, whatever), if you are wandering about why Ariana Huffington is holding back at HuffPo, ask her what business and political interests provided her with $25,000,000 lately. The Palestinian child in the coffin looks so much like my best friend during high school, a Lebanese -American. Words cannot describe how much her loving cosmopolitan family mattered to me, and how much cultural influence they had on me. (Her state of health today, is another whole topic.)

Swan, we can’t stop the world but we might be able to change it. Like you, I have been influenced by interaction with people from other races and cultures. I’ve been to Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Indonesia to name a few. Apparently only around 10% of Americans have passports which might explain a lot.
Arvy, Israel is a smaller version of America. The major difference is that one is Jewish and the other claims to be Christian.

If that’s the major difference it’s a distinction that seems to be getting less pronouced in recent times. I wonder how many Jews actually understand the true basis for the “support” that comes from the fundamentalist “Christian” segment of U.S. society. Of course, considering the high principles that govern hyper-religious communities in general, any such minor hypocrisy probably wouldn’t matter much even if it were fully understood.

Arvy, Jews reckon if Christians are stupid enough to support them, given that the Jews do not recognize Christianity, then so be it.
Jews are opportunists who will use any means they can to achieve their objectives. What is happening in Gaza supports this view!

‘Hyper-religion’… is that not the hallmark of the uneducated society? No matter the denomination!
But, is it only a harbinger that follows in the wake of ignorance just as population levels decline in the wake of an educated society. Or is religion in and of itself, the impetus to all evils?
I have to say I know a few institutionally educated people and a few of them have deep religious beliefs (probably because education is one of those two edged swords that the more you learn just what the elitist scum are capable of doing to the sheeple of the world, the more you need something, anything to believe in).
The jews do recognize the christians… they just recognize them as inferior slaves and chattel.
And I have to ask, not in a condescending way, but indeed, since it’s undisputed that although Jerusalem is the religious ‘promised land’, and the US must be the social and political ‘promised land’ as they’ve taken over our government and media and business and education… then what could they possibly want from that thin strip of ghetto they’ve built for the muslim jews or even the Golan for that matter?
So far, I tend to lean toward the former.
