These are some of the Israelis who should be prosecuted,
tried, then executed.
Friends, the President of Bolivia has called for the leaders of Israel to be brought to trial for war crimes being carried out in Gaza. I agree.
The whole lot of them: mouthpieces like Regev, the Army Commanders, the Knesset Cabinet, etc, the whole crazy lot should be shipped off to the Hague, put on trial, then executed.
1,000 plus people have now been killed in Gaza half of them women and kids. Gazans are still being bombed, starved, denied medical treatment, etc, during one of the greatest acts of inhuman bastardry ever seen.
It is a holocaust, a slaughter!
And the irony is that it took the President of a small South American country to declare what every Government in the world should have been shouting from the rooftops for the last 19 days!
The people of the world must rise up, must march on their parliaments to insist that this massacre is stopped. All Israeli and American goods must be boycotted. All Jewish organizations must be deluged with strong protests. Letters must be sent to all newspapers, radio shows called, etc.
We cannot allow this deranged, elitist nation and its Big Brother America to hold the world to ransom any longer.
It’s time for action. Only we, the people who care, have the will.
Act now to save the Palestinians!
P.S. This link is interesting:
Conspicuously absent in the background in the picture is the US flag.

They probably have a very large American flag draped across their knees, Ken!
Some people in America should be hauled off to the Hague too! The whole Bush Administration for starters!
Reply
I agree, David, you are gonna need a bigger ship to handle the entire Senate and Congress. Any one of them that signed anything bush put before them should be held for trial in world court.
But, to boycott American goods… I am pretty sure America has nothing left to boycott. Our manufacturing base has been replaced by service jobs.

Many Australian companies are now American owned, Insipid, and of course we have had Ford and G.M here for decades.
It’s time America was brought down as well as Israel especially given Clinton’s pro-Israeli words at the Senate hearings.

Well. Ford and GM have been leaving the US since the early eighties. In fact, I believe Canada and Mexico both have GM and Ford and Chrysler. The benefits to the average American? I know Flint Michigan has not seen any benefits from GM’s moving their manufacturing to other countries. In fact, Honda and VW are more American since they actually employ Americans to build their cars.
Since they are building them in Oz, perhaps they would be better known as Australian cars? If you boycott them, you hurt yourselves by keeping people from working and making a decent living. Yes, I know that’s sounds ridiculous, but the American people just borrowed several trillions(that’s billions to most of the rest of you) of dollars worth of credit from the Chinese to finance not only global car companies, but global bank bail-outs… so we could keep you working.
The worlds largest chain of ‘superstores’ started here in the US also, but every dime of revenue goes back to China. Every article sold is stamped, “Made in China”. The benefits to the US? A few thousands of it’s people get to make less than minimum wage with no benefits because they are mostly part-time. Thank you Mr. Walton!
These are not American. No, these are ‘global’ corporations that have eliminated their competition by swallowing them. These are the elite who rob the US citizens as they rob every nation that allows them in.
US citizens weren’t even allowed to help rebuild New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Haliburton brought in all foreign workers. These people are scum who are already well into taking the US down. Canada and Mexico will soon follow and they will introduce the new ‘saving grace’, the amero.
The elite believe only in class differences, not geographic borders.. So, why should we?

Ford and G.M. may manufacture in Oz, Insipid, but the real question is: where do the profits go?
And regarding profits from China made goods, retailers buy them from China for $10 and sell them for $50. The difference certainly doesn’t go back to China!
Let’s face it, America didn’t get to build the world’s biggest military because it gave anything away.
Perhaps it’s just that now, under Bush, fewer Americans get to share the profits!

As I mentioned, those profits are not realized here in the states, David.
As for walmart, all of those stores are corporate owned and the corporate HQ is in China.
Walmart is an unrepentant and recidivist violator of employee rights, drawing repeated convictions, fines, and the ire of judges from coast to coast.
As for the “world’s biggest military”, do you mean arsenal? Because obama and emanuel are planning forced 2 year conscription in the military for anyone 18 to 25 because they can’t get people to enlist because they don’t believe it’s a good cause. Sound vaguely familiar?
Unemployment is at a record high. I won’t site statistics because they take into account only those still on unemployment benefits, not those who’ve been cut off. It’s hurting Americans where it means the most; in the pocket book and the new dichotomy begins to gain some more momentum…
Yes, the people who are the elite scum’s puppets are certainly making profits and they are buying up property that is depressed. It’s the same story over and over.
But, it’s not “Joe American” with the sixth grade education that is orchestrating this. You give us too much credit m’thinks.
Unfortunately, prosecuting Isreal’s war crimes may be problematic. The International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction is, according to its prosecutor, limited to state parties to the ICC establishment treaty and Israel is not a member state. Nor, not coincidentally, is the U.S.
That didn’t stop us from prosecuting and hanging Nazi war criminals, of course, but they weren’t protected by a nuclear arsenal at the time.

Arvy, that Israel and America, who together represent around 5% of the world’s population, have created this cozy little scheme whereby THEY decide whether they are subject to International Laws and Conventions or not has to come to an end.
Surely the rest of the world has the grunt to break their non-compliance and their bullying and make them answerable for their war crimes.

One would like to think so, but I’m not optimistic. So long as the popular will within those countries is insufficiently strong to overcome the internal systemic problems that operate against their own long-term best interests, the external imposition of any such change seems unlikely. One must keep in mind that much of “the rest of the world” is also governed by satraps whose interests don’t coincide with those of their own people so any expectation of those peoples providing solutions for the corresponding problems of others would be unrealistic.
In sum, as I perceive it, it’s not so much a question of “the grunt” as the wherewithall.

Yes, Boycott American made weapons and Caterpillar Bulldozers. What else does America produce? We produce weapons and soldiers, mercenaries and elites and scientists in service to the military industrial complex. Then there is the whole minimum wage service industry. A hamster wheel to burn up ones life. I guess the brand America: cigarettes, cars, clothes, movies. Heck, I boycltt American stuff all the time. In fact since I havent worked, not only have I not paid income tax since the Gaza massacre began, but soon i will be paid by the govt. and I tithe to Code Pink amongst the groups that give directly to those in need. In fact I would appreciate any link to the best way to give to the Palestinian victims in Gaza.

Grace, your generosity is overwhelming but the way the situation is going in Gaza soon there won’t be any victims to give to! This is the Israeli intention of course.

Thanks, Colin, for the link. Most of the worthwhile worldwide charities will also take donations but how much of it will reach the Gazans, given the crushing Israeli blockade, is unknown.

Bolivia and Venezuela deserve all the help the rest of the world can give them, because they gave us CHAVEZ and MORALES. These two have been standing up for their people, and the international jews and the countries they occupy are going to go after them even stronger now. VIVA BOLIVIA; VIVA VENZUELA; VIVA HUGO CHAVEZ; VIVA EVO MORALES.

I agree, Swan. These countries are showing there is another way, a fairer way. Countries like America and Israel must hate to see these trends which undermine their elitist, imperial objectives!

Amnesty International has issued a report condemning Israel, and you can find it on line. It also has stated that other countries should not be providing Israel with weapons, and named them, the USA, or course, Australia, France, Croatia, etc., etc. It is good to know that Greek workers have protested the use of their ports, and are ready to mobilize if these marauding countries try again.

David I am slow in checking in but you are spot on:
“It’s time for action. Only we, the people who care, have the will”..yes; AND THE POWER!
Yikes, your PS site does make one cause to wonder WTH is really going on. I guess one can only be prepared for anything -there are no surprises anymore. You can be assured the US and Israel are behind it if there is anything to it.

My comment regarding ICC jurisdictional issues may turn out to be academic if things go the way they are envisioned in a recent Haaretz article by Gideon Levy entitled Things one sees from The Hague. Brief quote:

Arvy, one can only hope that this scenario will come to pass and those who are guilty of war crimes in Israel will have to pay the price for their brutality.
Only Sharon, as far as I know, has paid a price for his wickedness but that didn’t come about because of the work of legal prosecutors! It was ‘An act of God’!

By the way, I understand that that German cargo ship carrying devilish weapons from the USA to the government’s warehouse in Israel, is somewhere with devices turned off so that it cannot be tracked.
