Israeli Tanks Are Massing. The Slaughter Is About To Begin!
Friends, have you ever watched a cat play with a bird that it’s caught? It’s not a pretty sight, is it? The footage from Gaza that I saw this morning reminds me of such a scene, one that I saw when I was a small boy.
The memory is still fresh in my mind: the very big cat, the very small bird that was trying desperately to get away. And the cat let it think it was escaping only to jump and capture it again in its claws and injure it a bit more. I threw stones at the cat, drove it away. I took the bird home in a small tin, wrapped a bandage around it. But it died by the next morning, its trauma and injuries too great. I’ve had little time for cruelty or cats ever since.
In the Gaza, Israel is a giant cat and the Palestinians are the captured birds. Israel is playing with the citizens of Gaza, inflicting casualties and pain, dropping a bomb here, a missile there. 345 people are dead now and somewhere between 800-1,450 are injured (depending on the source) and much of Gaza is in ruins. 4 Israelis have been killed by Palestinian rockets, the ones the Israelis are using as a pretext for the carnage. 345-4, eh? Those Pesky Palestinians must be really dangerous!
Of course, unlike the little bird from long ago, the Gazians have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. They are under seige and they live in the most densely populated region in the world!
And, within hours, the invasion will begin. American tanks, F16s, Apache helicopters, missiles will be used against people who, packed together like sardines, have only small arms and a fierce will to be free after sixty years of occupation and seige.
Netanyahu was on Fox News this morning. He was justifying the killing. The interviewer at Live Desk fed him soft questions and Netanyahu, a Zionist fanatic, went into his song and dance routine about how this was merely self-defense, that Hamas was to blame, that they were fighting terrorism like America, that the Jews were victims. I turned the program off in disgust. Faux News clearly reflects the Jewishness of its owner. It is a disgrace!
The tanks are massing. The people of Gaza wait in fear. And the world does nothing!

According to Gideon Atznon, renowned scholarly expatriate Israeli, the vast majority of Israelis want their elected officials to be hawks, and to have the blood of Arabs, in particular Palestinians, on their beaks. This is an election season, and Livni and Barak are trying to best Netanyahu.
And like you pointed out, David, the mass media’s highly paid flunkies, idiotically participate in demonizing the citizens of Gaza. I even saw two entire Dr. Phil shows this year that did this, in no uncertain terms. I appreciate Syd Walker doing a piece calling Israel, Rothchildistan, and thoroughly outlining good reasons for doing so. His article is posted at http://www.inforwars.com. Like you asked here, Mr. Grayling, what is the world going to do? Like the one injured Palestinian was crying on film yesterday, the government is the cause of this violence; what good are governments.

A word to the wise, Wayne Madsen has written today in his Report on line, that both Daily Kos and Democratic Underground are, during this crisis, refusing to post any comments that are anti-Israel, but plenty that are pro-Israel. Does the HOR, the House of Rothschld, really control half of the world’s finances, $5,000 trillion dollars worth. Atznon does write that although he was brought up in Israel as a lefty, he was still also taught to think that the only good Arab was a dead Arab.

Unfortunately ‘the world’ will do nothing, Swan, just as they’ve been doing since 1947. Problem is that Israel mirrors America! Or is it that America mirrors Israel?

I was just on democratic underground and I did not see one single thread NOT ONE about gaza. Maybe I overlooked one but regardless it should be the top story. I wish there was someone who would throw stones at Israel the way you did the cat but sadly no one will lift a finger to stop the slaughter. In fact it wouldnt suprise me if america helped. I certainly hope Obama will be different on these issues but after his cabinet picks and his having no comment on the gaza bloodbath a small shred of hope is all that I have left and its slowly withering away with each passing day.

“American tanks, F16s, Apache helicopters, missiles” all US, but what is “US”?
A euphemism for Israeli/American dominated/based oligarchy, which depends almost entirely on funding by citizens of the country called the US of A. (It spends none of its money. It pays no tax, and it is all public. There are no private F16s and Israel builds no F16s.)
So the USan approves of this latest? Means nothing. Is has totally lost control through stupidity. So at least they need not take the blame. “US” and the country are two separate entities.

I expect Israel to behave as it does, it is the nature of the beast. But why do pratically all governments of the world (with a few honourable exceptions) support outright or remain silent about Israel’s outrages? How does such a tiny, parasitic aberration of a country control the world media and governments to such an extent?

It does not. The Western oligarchy is world wide, for sure, and has a loyalty to the symbolic base, Israel. Many members, including People in the US “government”, hold dual US/Israel citizenship. Hardly only a parasitic aberration, rather a huge monster of a perverted aberration.
Frau Merkel a year ago went to Israel, stood at a podium and said “an attack on Israel is an attack on us”, “us” being NATO/US.

Just read that Sunday, my government blocked a UN Security Council resolution, non-binding, at that, calling for a cease-fire in Gaza, the end of all military and violent action between Israel and Gaza. This is the 42nd time my bully nation refused to allow the UN to deny Israel behavior that repulses civilized people.
I am proud to learn that both Congressman Paul, and a former bigwig in Reagon’s administration have come out with strong statements condemning Israel and the USA, saying that Israel is not an independent nation. You can find those at informationclearinghouse.info, according to an email I received. I was completely disappointed at the amount of disinformation and disingenuous statements spewed by Alex Jones today in his radio show. At least he is not denying people the right to make anti-Israel comments at his website.

Yet, as a Cat Lover I feel saddened by the comparison of my feline
friends to Israel. Israel is at best a dog with rabies, in a perpetual
feeding frenzy on Palestinian people.
My cats don’t hunt for joy. They eat what they hunt and I believe as
fast as my Kitties are, they never got a healthy bird.
Israel is the reason Jewish people are hated, even though they are
‘only’ a religious community, not a race, as they try to make other
supremacists believe.
