Is Informer A Prophet?

Friends, this was a comment on Information Clearing House today. The article was by Engdahl. I thought the comment was interesting. And scary!

“People.Start stocking up on supplies.Just what you need to survive.Just like you would pack when you go camping.Think on the lines of,”What do my family and I need to survive for the next 4-6 months.” Stock up before Obama takes office.

Make sure you pack paracetamol, ammunition, torches, tents, gas cooker, rice, cans of food, plenty of water. For the ladies, plenty of sanitary items.I am serious.

If you have any money sitting in the bank, exchange it for gold.Any amount you can afford.
informer | 11.25.08 – 7:44 pm |”

It mirrors the dire thoughts of some folk who are watching the global financial crisis unfold. Could ‘informer’ be right? After all, who knows where the current situation will end?

Have we reached the stage where setting up survival rations and shelter should be a priority? Note the inclusion of ammunition. And tents. Does it mean that people will turn on each other should starvation become the norm, be driven from their homes? Are we being told the truth about how bad things are? Are the rich rats already abandoning the sinking ship leaving us to endure urban warfare based on survival of the fittest?

Are you preparing for the worst? Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

  1. You have to take everything you read on I.C.H. with a grain of salt. People posting messages at I.C.H. that something big is about to happen has been a regular pattern there. It is part of their M.O.
I can not state the reason for sure but my first guess that it is to expand the readership at their site by leading readers to believe that they can get true inside information at ICH. I can do what they do just as well just watch.

  2. The first attempt to recruit me in to the East German Foreign Intelligence Service commonly but incorrectly known as the STAZI was made by Professor Gary Prevost while I was attending St. John’s University. Gary Prevost is his correct name. We give him a fake name. Credit should be given where credit is due.
I was at that time in a US Army officer training program, known as ROTC for those of you from outside of the US. Although I did not decide to work for the “STAZI” at this time I did not report my contact because my political views were in flux at this time and I figured that I should leave my options open.
My decision to actually work for the “STAZI” was made not long after I was sent to Germany and I went to visit one of my classmates at Baumholder Germany.
It was at this time that I learned that my very good friend Mike M. was had been so harassed by his chain of command and even by his subordinates that he suffered a nervous breakdown which eventually lead to his death.
(Oops sorry for that delay I had to go pick up my daughter at school because she complained of a bad headache)
Now where was I. Oh yes my trip to Baumholder. Well I was enraged and realized that the US was not worthy of my loyalty. So I contacted Gary who facilitated my contact with the STAZI agent who I would be responsible to.
Also during my assignment in Germany I met and married a person from the middle east who greatly expanded my knowledge of what complete assholes the US been in that area. My REFORGER expieriences further strenghten my resolve at damaging the US MIC from the inside.
After doing my work in the military I continued to ply my trade in Washington DC during which time the STAZI covered my tracks and handed me over to the Russians.
My employment with the Russians surprisingly came to an end in December of 2006 when I quite accidently and unexpectedly came across information that I believed had such profoundly damaging political implication that it could change history. I could not trust the Russians to pass this information on because it would have resulted in my cover getting blown.
Yet I believed that this was a once in a life time opportunity that should not be missed so I blew my own cover.
I imagine the Russians were pissed at first but I think that over the past two years the have often laughed so hard from Moscow to Vladivostok that it has caused earthquakes in northern Japan.
Now what is really funny about this story is that anyone working for US counterintellegence is going to know that it is a bald faced lie. The only corraborating evidence supporting this phoney confession is that I began making preperations to move from Washington DC back to Germany at a time that came just prior to the arrest of Aldrich Ames.
Furthermore the US counterintellegence knows my MO they know that I would write such a story just to cause a giant cluster fuck. They are probably sitting back and smiling and saying, how lame we have got you all figured out. They do have me all figured out.
If anybody is so stupid to go up to the middle of Minnesota in the winter time to investigate my bogus story I hope it is minus 40 degrees when they get there
and does not get any warmer.
It is obvious as hell my only reason for telling this story is to cast doubt on the loyalty of any officer who was commissioned from the SJU ROTC program.
Maybe if a big investigation gets done it will step on some peoples toes at get them really pissed off that such charges could be taken seriously. So the investigation better be done discreetly. Yet if it is done discreetly maybe it will not be thorough and might miss a key clue.
But maybe my story is partly true. May the really really big lie designed to hide another layer of deception is that I was not recruited by Gary Prevost but by a member of the ROTC staff. But I did not make that claim because that would be so preposterous that my claim would end up straight in a file 13. But who knows maybe I just know cooked up that story to hide an ever deeper secret that Gary and an unnamed Army officer worked in Tandum. Wow wouldnt that be a nightmare. SJU 33 Cambridge
    6.
What is even more funny is whoever gets the job to investigate this might be in on the joke. Even funnier is that who ever chooses the investigators or polygraphs the investigators might be in on the joke.

  3. See how easy that was. I chose to post it on an Australian web site that gets about what 40 or 50 visitors a day because I crave attention especially the attention of a female regular whose photograph I saw in a Magazine and fell in love with although I never have confessed to being a lesbian.

  4. Before Obama takes office? Sounds a little like the cults who wait to die. Of course, I could be wrong. I am in the middle of moving and it feels like a lot of pressure to get our survival together in the nic’ of time by January. The part about leaving the masses of people who didn’t have money to prepare or the strength to fend for themselves to die… There are millions of elderly and disabled and children who will not have prepared. If we are going to be a species worth saving, then we must rise to the highest denominator of our human nature. That is easy for a “bleeding heart” like me.

  5. BLP, it took a lot of words to make your point! And besides, my blog gets an average of nearly two hundred hits per day with the last three days being 200, 222 and 243!

Grace, thank heavens for a bleeding heart like you. I think Informer mirrors the fear that many people have that the world is rapidly disintegrating and our ‘leaders’ don’t have a clue as to how to fix it!

    Cheers.

  7. Lucy, history shows that, prior to WW2, some folks warned that trouble was coming from Germany but most people, especially the British, refused to accept the truth.

Humans tend to see what they want to see I’m afraid! I know of people in Australia who are stocking up on rations.

  8. David, the soup kitchens are already being over whelmed, and the banks moving in to claim their property’s, has started even in the leafier suburbs of Sydney.

My son who works in the mines, has been told not to buy property on the strength of the mines future prospects. It may be mothballed, the commodity prices are falling big time, and no further explanation is needed.

The evidence is starting to mount, that we are entering unknown waters in the financial crisis.

Rudd knows more than he is letting on,talks of deficits are a not to subtle hint in the present Australian economy, that the shit is going to hit the fan some time soon..The good ship Wall St is sinking fast, and like the Titanic, there are not enough life boats. The third class passengers as as per 1912 will be allowed to go under. The similarity’s are uncanny, now as then, the rich and famous will be saved. No change there.

Interesting months if not weeks ahead.

  9. Phill, there is enough evidence on the ground to suggest that things are going to be bad. I guess people ignore the warning signs at their peril.

Of course governments are not going to say too much in case they spook the horses (or is it sheep?).

The latter to be sure. You know David I knew the writing was on the wall years ago,we have and are living beyond our means.

But that observation does not include the less fortunate and educated among us.I blame the current political situation on our own class. It is we that have voted for the Bushe’s, Blair’s, Howard’s and Thatchers of the world. With out us they would not get a look in,there are more of us than the ruling class, but as you know they have most of us in their pocket.

They are cognizant of the fact the burbinites will believe anything, and of course what better illustration of this point, than the reelection of George Bush, Blair, and our own home grown mental giant John Howard.

Until we get away from the duopoly that seems give turns at government of tweedle dumb and dumber, the current situation will keep repeating itself.

You don’t have to be a great oracle, or read a library of books to understand what is going on.My next door neighbors mate is a very nice bloke, working class, hard worker etc, etc.He believes the Iraq war was justified, and the atrocities committed there a media beat up..

I rest my case your honor.

  12. This is a hard one for me. On the one hand, this species is akin to a cancer which is draining the life out of it’s host. This disease must evolve it’s intelligence, it’s breeding habits, it’s long-term goal making skills or this disease will be be just a quick flash in the pan.

On the other hand, I am a thinking, compassionate, human being who wants to see a light at the end of the tunnel for the next generations to come. I have hopes.

We are a classic example, in a lot of ways, of a pack animal. As such, most of us are born followers. In every generation a leader is born. We, as a sheepish species, need a leader. When one is not born or refuses or can’t take the lead, then we appoint idiots to lead.

Idiots are not good leaders. They are generally the elite. The elite believe in population control also. They beleive they can “create” the “master race” through eugenics(the bush boys are a good example). They try to control the cancer by making it eat itself.

But, any person with a reasonable intellect, can see that an evolved disease is one that may make it’s host sick, but leaves it alive. The common cold vs. ebola for instance, is an excellent example.

Intelligence requires a knowledge of history. History shows that population controls itself as it gets more educated about itself and it’s surroundings.

We, as a species, have the capacity to evolve our thinking. To speed up evolution, as it were. Simply, by thinking. Educating to be free thinkers. We can choose to allow the elites to do it the way they manipulate a dog’s or cat’s genes(through selective breeding and believe me when I say that 98% of us don’t have what they are looking for, genetically and probably they believe they have the scientific abilities to selectively change mutated genes) or we can allow nature to take the course that doesn’t lead to hereditary abominations.

The elite want us dumb and hungry so we will do their bidding, fight their wars, be good, complacent slaves ready to give our lives for a chance at some relief in the “afterlife”.

Most dogmatic religions tend to strip us of any connection to nature, to the natural world, to our own humanity. Most dogmatic religions are just tools used by the elite. Like a masterful magician, the elite keep us watching the right hand, appealing to our sense of greed, while the left hand deftly takes everything we produce for them and stows it in a hidden pocket 2000′ ft underground.

And a final thought to all those survivalists out there stocking up on food and provisions to survive some predicted cataclysmic collapse of the worlds economies, don’t let yourselves get comfortable for even a minute, because it most likely wont be the masses coming for you, but the elites with their high-tech weapons and sighting devices and such.

EVOLVE ye sheeple of the Earth! EVOLVE damnit! Or we will lose everything. We have the strength of masses!!! We can still leave this a world better than we inherited.

  13. Insipid, you mirror many of my own thoughts. I even suggested once giving evolution a bit of a hand but there are a lot of flat-earthers still floating about who prefer us to remain primitive savages!

Lucy, one person’s barnpot (whatever that is) may well be another’s messiah!

Time will tell who is right.

  14. David G…. agreed. Seems those “flat-earthers” are the ones who are running things. With active campaigns to reduce the intelligence of the “plebes”, our existence on this organism we have named “Earth”, seems tenuous at best.

Consider, as did Dr. Sagan in his masterpiece for the masses, “Cosmos”, the history of Earth on the scale of a twelve month calendar. At 11:59:25 on Dec. 31st, the historical record of man began.

Animals, millions of species, billions perhaps, have lasted much longer than our “intelligent” species. Huge animals with brains no larger than an orange. Small ones with brains consisting of just the primal parts of the brain lasted longer than we have and yet we are on the verge of self-extinction.

We are on the edge of 12:00, Jan. 1st, and what has technological intelligence gotten us? All forms of wonderful things! And yet we cling to dichotomies and dogma older than history itself.

  15. Here’s the thing. Our beautiful planet can provide food and shelter for all of us, but the rich siphon off much more than their share.
There is enough food grown now for all, but if people don’t have money to buy it, they starve.
Now the economic system is breaking down, and many more will starve.
The simple thing is, if we can provide food, clothing and shelter with money, or credit, or fiat money, then we can provide it without that particular form of exchange.
We need to get the leeches out of the system and then provide a sustainable life for all of humanity. With proper respect for the Earth and all its other living beings.
But, dude, listen to them. After Katrina, they flat out said- we’re not helping. You’re on your own. Store some food and water.
And a right winger I know remarked causally, “I’m not storing food. All I need is enough bullets to take what I need from those that did”.
