Alone!

Friends, this morning this photograph captures my mood perfectly. I want to write a post but I can’t. What can I say, or anyone else for that matter, that will change anything?

The world is as it is and humans are as they are and nothing changes. Generations come and generations go and we all start with the same dreams then repeat the same lines, experience the same things, make the same mistakes, cop the highs and lows, have a few laughs and shed some tears and, eventually, draw similar conclusions (like if we had our life over we’d do it all differently, etc,).

Someone once said that life was an inherently disappointing experience.

For most humans, especially the sensitive, caring ones, it is!

  1. Ever seen the movie, Harold and Maude? I am so glad that I’ve studied it, smile. Thanks so much David. I wan to meet more Rastafarians, another smile.

  2. “Someone once said that life was an inherently disappointing experience.”

Au contraire David, I wouldn’t have missed this experience given the choice.

Who ever penned the cliche “The best things in life are free’” Shakespear mayhaps? knew the real value of life.

I fear for the future of my grandchildren, and others in a world that is run by a coterie of screw balls and other assorted nutters.

But this fear is tempered some what by my grand children, their innocent smiles, their sounds of giggling and mischief.I see them before they are going to be indoctrinated into a world of consumerism, and where greed in some quarters, is a virtue.

However, when I stand on a sandy beach with a fresh breeze and sun in my face, I appreciate the purpose of my life,Of course we of the caring and sharing types, know not every one in the world is so lucky, this is what separates us from the others.

You know I was listening to Pete Seeger on the A.B.C. this morning, now if the world had lots more of him, and a lot less Bushes and McCains, a better dawn for all, may emerge out of this madness.

Cheer up David, at least look forward to next week the end of a nightmare, the 21st century’s caligula will be no more.

I am an atheist but I will pray for Obama, I must cover my bets.

For mine next week will be the litmus test,if they put McCain and Palin in the White House, my blogging days are over, there is only one thing worse than talking to people that wont listen, THAT’S TALKING TO YOUR SELF.

    Peace.

  3. I have seen it, Swan. Then I’ve seen a million movies, so many that few of them are that clear anymore.

Phill, Peter Seegar wrote and sang, ‘Little Boxes’ didn’t he? He saw clearly what the world was about, people too.

Sadly it could be so different, so much better. But only if humans were different.

Regarding Tuesday, anything could happen and probably will. If McCain wins then I might give up blogging too. Take up knitting or, better still, build a bomb shelter. A very deep one!

    Cheers.

Indeed David indeed, this mans personality tells me volumes about this thing.I have read about his first marriage, the man lives under a rock.

His comment referring to Obama as “That One” was shrugged off by himself and the M.S.M., but it left me in no doubt this mans character is suspect.

I predict if Obama loses, it will be a fiddle, and the U.S. will burn, especially in states with a high Afro American population.

The Rodney King verdict all those years ago, was a lesson in the true so called reconcilliation. There are interesting times coming.

Apparently, according to the main headline article in Common Dreams (see LINKS), the Chimp and his forty thieves are rushing through deregulation laws that will allow Big Business to plunder the planet for many years.

Of course, he may yet attack Iran in the remaining three months. He is capable of anything, none of it good!

2.you are already making an impact and a change in our lives. I m following the 10 steps. and I m gathering ideas and comfort on this blog. I m sure many others can confirm that you are making a difference.

  7. If you feel sad and alone you obviously do not have much to loose. ACT SUSPICIOUS: GO OUT AND BUY 1000 pounds of fertalizer with cash and 40 liters of oil and 200 pounds of ball bearings. You have a good reason to. You expect that a world war could break out at any time and you need to stock pile these (dual purpose) survival items. Do I need to explain the value of these items if international trade breaks down. Then start walking your dog around a military base start taking pictures of electrical power stations or some other place where you can be seen taking pictures, then make some suspicious sounding telephone calls.
Eventually the police will realize that you a jerking them around but if you get enough people to do this you can over work the people keeping the government in power. Eventually they will get the message that there is a hell of a lot of normally law abiding people who are really pissed off and that these people see how the real trouble makers and their colaborators are. Now the purpose of this is to get some, not all but some, of the people in the security services to defect and start really serving the people rather than the government. OK these security personnel might not be rocket scientists but some of them come from working class backgrounds. They might start to get inspired by your performances and start trying to figure out ways that they can put sand into the gears of militarism. Maybe you can think of some of your own ideas to bring psychological warfare in to the lives of the collaborators. Are there no collaborators in Australia?
Your goal in life is to get 2 people in the security services to defect each year. They may stay with the security service but their goal in staying is no longer to serve the government but serve the people by sabotaging the government until the government starts acting legally and starts serving the people not the military industrial complex and only the rich.

  8. Hey, BLP, great suggestions! However, out in rural Australia there aren’t too many military installations to photograph.

I could photograph the post office, I guess or the police station. Not sure that anyone would care. Anyway, Australia has got rid of its right-wing government and we’re currently doing OK.

    America is the problem!

  9. Oh and I almost forgot try to come up with a reason that can explain your presence in any area that you are observing or taking pictures of and why these pictures are “artistically” sicnificant in case you should be questioned. But chances are you will never be questioned just observed unless you actually mix the fertilizer, oil and ball bearings and start to transport them somewhere.
I of course do not reccommend this course of action for someone who is dealing in drugs.
Also you can later return your unused materials.
Now you could also do something that will surely get you arrested like block traffic on to a military base.
But with my idea or some variation of it you tie up enemy resources for a much longer time and you do not get arrested to boot.
Ok here is another thing that I tried.
I went to a local army recruiter and asked some stupid questions. Then I went to a nearby Air Force recruiter and asked the same stupid questions.
Now maybe the recruiters were to stupid to notice that my behavior was suspicious but I am hoping that the two offices spoke either on that day or the day after and were able to put 2 and 2 together and come to the conclusion that something suspicious had happened and alert a higher headquarters that then initiated an investigation that made everybody look foolish. Now I have no way of knowing if my idea was successful but if you try several different things some might actually work. Then for very little money and effort you have forced the enemy to spend a lot of time and effort on countering your move. Of course the enemy may chose to retaliate but if they do so in an illegal manner that may cause a backlash among some of the members of the enemy. Therefore your actions are helping to divide enemy forces. They could chose to retaliate in a legal manner but then that will cost them resources which some members of the enemy may think is a bad use of resources so again you are helping to divide enemy forces. Remember you in this grand game are just pawns but the security forces are the rooks, knights, and castles. If you can get even one to defect you have achieved a great victory.

  11. Dear friends, I usually attack ideas and statements. I do not enjoy personal attacks. But from my sincere observations of the texts concocted by BLP, please be aware..

First of all, we should not fall into the behaviour of the opposite party.
We hate violence.. Why should we consider violence a solution? It is never a solution.

Second of all: never ever ever allow instigators which present a deranged and inconsistent behaviour to instigate you.. based on their seemingly similar view on a certain matter.

about BLP, all the above and some of his previous conspiracy theory crap is just as dangerous as sustaining war was and is necessary.

All that antenna, espionage, fertilizer, destabilizing bollock is a DANGEROUS propaganda, not excusable by any law or moral standard.

BLP is a coward. If I were to profile him, I would call him a self deluded megalomaniac, in desperate need of attention, engulfed in his own paranoia and delusional grandeur.. This guy is maybe puberty aged, with some pimples on his face, incapable to develop normal and healthy relationships therefore enclined into constructing conspiracy theories and instigating innocent people to violence trough the pretense of submitting to their view.

BLP… I read you like an open book.

My intention is not to drive you away.. but to make you stop instigating people to violence.. You can be dismantled in two seconds by an intelligent thinking person, and I fear the people here are too kind and gentle to offend you.

    I am not kind.
I am an enemy of non-intelligence and megalomania.
    At all costs.

  12. There is a big difference between DEFENSE and PREVENTIVE ATTACK. The powers who are crossed that line much too often. I beg of you, let us not do the same mistake. There is no justification to violence. We are far to smarter and generous to fall into that trap. I know the despair we face may bring the thought of desperate solutions upon a silver plate in front of us. Please let us be superior, and not present the same incapability and cowardice of the people who we try to prove wrong.
I love you all for your passion and hope. Please, be superior as you already are. Wrestling with pigs in the mud won’t give us the shining spirit that we are looking for.
Love, and peace to you all.

  13. Dave and Swan,
To use the word courageous is an overstatement. Nothing that I have written about required that I overcome a fear of being killed or injured. Any ways Americans are no more or less courageous than people anywhere else. Their are many people in America who spend more time on political or social activism than I do. But despite all that activity especially concerning anti war activism it has not been very successful. Perhaps the anti war leadership is a like like military generals have often been in the sense that they are struggling using the tactics of the past.
Some people may not have noticed that I did not encourage anyone in the above posts to kill anyone. Despite the fact that I do believe killing people can be a good idea and I make no apologies for it. Anyways that is a very long discussion that I am not going to get drawn in to. People have to start stretching their minds and see possible ways to do something more than just preaching but less than throwing bombs.
A cobra once crawled to Buddha and said, the children of the village are throwing stones at me and hitting me with sticks can I bite them when they do that? The Buddha said no that he should flee. The next day the very badly injured snake came back to Buddha and asked why Buddha told him he could not bite back. Buddha said, Oh my poor snake I did not tell you that you could not hiss.
The enemy is naturally suspicious and a bit paranoid. When you act in a suspicious manner it will use resources to investigate. If it does not investigate and then later something happens peoples butts are not going to be covered. You see for some people they start off just with a threat display but over time they get angry enough that they do commit an act of violence. So by just spending a few dollars you can tie down a number of the people who are preventing a revolution and they will be spending 100s of dollars if not thousands for every dollar that you spend.
One of the things I learned somewhere was that when the enemy has tapped in to your lines of communication everything that you say has to be designed to deceive, divide, and demoralize the enemy to aid in their defeat. That often means lying. Oh yes lying is generally a bad thing but any first year student of ethics knows that lying is often the lesser of 2 evils. Now if the enemy does not pay any attention to anything that you say because they think that you are a dishonest person that you can say something true that you do not want the enemy to believe and when the enemy sees some supporting evidence that it is true they will dismiss it as their enemies attempt to fool them.
Here is an attempt to deceive you. The reason that I wrote the posts above was to strengthen the moral of someone who is doing everything that he can do in the Australian outback to make a difference.
What I am now about to write is an attempt to gain world wide fame and wealth. You see I am not really a very clever person. I did not come up with the ideas that I have presented here or other ideas that I have not presented. For many years I had been a devout atheist. But just to cover my bets I was praying in the fall of 2006 that I could come up with some effective way to show my support for 1Lt. Watada of the US Army. Then some weeks later, I will not divulge the exact time that information could be useful, while walking my dog late at night in a relatively remote area a large triangular shaped craft appeared before me a being that looked human got out and walked towards me. I did not run away because I have often heard rumors that UFOs are really top secret military aircraft and I had a large dog with me that did not appear to be frightened. The man in a black uniform with the word VRP Heer over one pocket on his chest and Oberst Jaffar Hubel over the other pocket came to me and said, take these, in a voice just like Arnold Schwartzenagger. he gave me some papers with the ideas that I have implemented. Now in trying to remember this incident I think that the VRP stood for Volks Republic Prussia. Now Adina may call me a lying son of a bitch, but she was not there. Hell she might have said, but no his voice sounded like Sgt. Schultz of Hogan’s Heroes, if she had been there. I am glad that she wasn’t there because if she was I might have been on a shorter leash than my dog.
This is a lie too. In some of my other posts I have been trying to put some ideas in your head without actually spelling them out.
Now if you do something to attract attention to yourself and you pass certain psychological tests you might get blessed with an opportunity to do some real damage to your enemies.
This chance may come from some supernatural force or it may come from a rouge element in the enemy security forces who is only pretending to be a McCain supporter or it may come from someone pretending to be a pacifist when in reality they are Nikita the natural blond born killer.
If you can not appreciate my writing for its political content I hope that you at least find it entertaining.

  14. Oh I forgot an important point that I wanted to make at the beginning. Americans are not cowards. Many at the top are corrupt. Those underneath have either fallen prey to the ideas of the leaders of have grown dispondent or have given up trying to figure out what is true and what isnt. I can say that I am disappointed with Americans because in 3rd world countries poor people really do risk their lives to make a change. And Americans for all their talk about freedom do not even use the freedom they have to control their government. Voting is actually very trivial. Many people cast a ballot for or against a candidate for many different reasons. Then the press and the politicians then infer what ever they want after the election when they really have no basis what so ever for making their inferences. Ultimately the only peoples opinions that count are those that have weapons and know how and are willing to use them. Yes I love Buddha but I love Paine as well and he certainly was no pacifist.

  17. I wanted to suggest one other thing that anyone who visits this website can do.
That is write letters of support to those US military personnel who are imprisoned because they are selective objectors and refused to take part in the war in Iraq or in Afghanistan. I would especially like to encourage people to write Hasan K. Akbar who is imprisoned in Ft. Leavenworth Disciplinary Barracks in Kansas. Just think here is a man who risked his life for our freedom and he is stuck in a place where everyone hates him for being a traitor when in reality he was a divine Patriot. If there is anyone who deserves our love and support in a risk free way it is him. Your letters may have the secondary effect of getting those who guard him in to questioning their support of their criminal military and if we get really really lucky perhaps a conspiracy to help him escape will develope. Of course I would not bet a days salary on it but we can always hope. Stranger things have happened.

You deluded loser. You encourage people to write letters to save and enable some “conspiracy to save” Hasan K Akbar.

Hasan K Akbar is nothing but a criminal who killed 2 of his fellow citizens and injured 14 people of his own country. You do not encourage violence???
But you declare a murderous fanatic to be a quote “divine patriot”???? He deserves our love and support? He risked his life for our freedom?

He IS A CRIMINAL. And CRIMINALS KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE. THIS IS WHAT THEY DO.

YOU ENCOURAGE VIOLENCE AND KILLING by asking to save a criminal and by calling him a divine patriot.

Thank God and the “supernatural power” which talks to you through your antenna, that you are a loser and only concoct conspiracies and alien encounters at every corner.

If I were a guy, I d smack your ass in a second.

My mother in law who is a spiritual person also instinctively knew this too and went along with me. I really had the feeling that change could come about this way. BECAUSE.. people are listening.

The knowledge of making b-o-m-s will only be useful if all systems break down and self defense actually becomes about real survival. Hopefully it won’t come to that, but none of us knows for sure.

Each day I am reminded of how much of life I enjoy. Quantitatively more than large swaths of humanity; many of whom are “nice” people. Traveling taught me this gratitude and humility. Lots of nice and good people have it way worse than me. This led me to ask the sky, “why me?” The only answer I could think of is that there must be some purpose for all the wonderful meals and priveleges I have enjoyed. Perhaps to give me the strength to find a way to feed the hungry! To give me the strength to fight the good fight. If that is the purpose, I hope I can do something so great as to be a part of ending needless hunger.

Moving 15 times in the past 7 years has not helped me to help others much. Settling down does make some things possible that weren’t before. I want to act locally, while thinking globally.

With that in mind, I want you all to know I voted early – absentee ballot. My votes are in. On behalf of America and the whole world who couldn’t vote in this election, I carefully marked the box for Obama/Biden.

Thank you David. Your blog has subtly helped me to “re-think” alot of socialized assumptions.

  20. It’s an interesting question, that of the use of violence to achieve peace. BLP has managed to join the two in his pseudonym.

Of course, Gandhi seemed to get it right in India but then he was dealing with a British Government which, despite its imperialism, maintained some kind of morality, even some standards of decency.

The American Government is a different kettle of fish and, believing that might is right, will engage in mass killing and massive destruction with little compunction.

And the question could be asked whether the French Revolution would’ve succeeded without a violent rebellion?

    Cheers.

  21. Dear David, we are here. We question things like believing in Jesus and religion.. at the same time, I feel we are contradicting ourselves by even taking into consideration the thought of an obviously deranged individual who claims to be a spy, meet alien in person quite frequently, have contact with the Kryptonians.. and to even validate his proposal of Violence..
it is too much for me to take.

Just because one is an enemy of US (BLP) does that make his suggestions valid and pertinent despite evident factual evidence of serious psychological disturbances in his deranged personality and statements?

I have to dissociate myself with this instigation to violence. I do not agree with violence. Violence is not the solution to a 21 century problem. Just because some french managed to get some change with blood some century ago.. that does not make it a viable solution today, we should be more inteligent and evolved than that.. Easy also to suggest violence in someone elses yard. If that would involve your kids and your neiboughood, would you sponsor it so much?

To all us, hipocrites, who care about the child in the picture.. would you leave your confortable job and house and move to africa to contribute to a better life there? NO. We are “concerned” but selfish in substance, in our “concern”.
Easy to talk war from the comfort of our sofa.

I find that even suggesting the violence as a potential solution is a serious matter. I dissociate myself with the messages of hatred which at this point seem to have degenerated far to far, if we can accept here people who call Hasan Akbar a divine hero.

I also disagree that the Imperialist British had decency.. their crimes were not made in an environment of spread media as today. you have no idea of the rapes and crimes, exploitation, slavery and inhumanity that they perpetrated. in a quantity (time/people affected) perspective, America is nothing compared to the british empire.

I am puzzled.. when we can claim that british empire can be so easily excused.. while America not.

I m not a fan of America and that is clear. But I am not an enemy of it either, and I despise the proposed violent solution which is nothing else than copying the same approach. And if people like BLP can be taken seriously on this blog.. I have to again strongly dissociate from what seems to become now blind hatred and instigation.

  22. Ah, Adina, if only we were more intelligent and evolved! But we’re not. So we have to deal with the reality we find ourselves in.

Regarding BLP, I don’t take very much of what he says seriously and I suggest that you do likewise. I’m waiting for him to reveal himself. It won’t be long I’m sure.

As someone who hates imperialism, I offer no excuse for any country that engages in it NOW! In the past, many nations engaged in it, one of which was Britain. Gandhi was able to shame them into freeing his country whereas Americans have no shame and think that bombing and occupation solves all problems.

I am a pacifist, Adina, and hate war but if someone invaded my home and threatened me or my family, I would use violence if necessary. And if my country was taken over by a 1984-type government I would also fight for my freedom by any means.

    Peace.

Sometimes I wonder whether I go too far and may find myself in trouble one day but to do nothing is not an option!

That’s exactly what our masters want: for people to do nothing.

  25. We are too small fish to cause any real trouble. Whatever we say, serves only co raise the level of awareness and express our consciousness at a philosophical level.

If we however gang up with Kryptonian messengers and start instigating to buy fertilizer and bearings… I repeat, not only we lose credibility, but sanity as well.

Doing nothing is not an alternative. But let s not be like the ones we criticize, and do whatever it takes, even if it is at the extreme of the scale of balance.

You David said it well. IF I AND MY FAMILY ARE ATTACKED I WILL FIGHT.
Same for me. As of today, America did not attack me.. If and when they will, I ll fight back.

Problem is.. if you are all exteding the “me and my family” to the trade matters and to the wars in Iraq.. well fighting against America can be done in may practical ways other than instigating the American residents to violence.. Why not stop buying china goods, why not sell all yoour belongings and open a school in africa.. why not do something USEFUL and not something DESTRUCTIVE..
at destruction we all jump with the excitment of wow wow wow.. to create and fight for sustainable peace in practical and non violent ways not many are willing or capable.

Let us face the truth again. None of us really give a dam> all we “fight” for is our little selves, our little comfortable lives which are not so comfortable anymore due to the geo economical social changes changing place due to america.. and all other SELF reflected issues.. future of kids.. and all.
To give you an example.. Despite the fact that there is no such thing as “ownership” on a biological entity… not even via the DNA link, you do not own that person, most of the selfhish humans still believe in procreating THEMSELVES and owning their KIDS. They will never consider adoption.. as the Kid’s not mine.

That speaks volume about these “fighters” inner real motives.

As for “do nothing, that s what the powers want” … I Disagree so much.

Start an unequalled fight of few anarchist who believe they have the strength against a military outnumbering machine. Start the Havoc and we ll finish it for you in further liberty restriction for everybody.
That s what the powers truly want.
And that s the purpose that whoever is instigating violence serve.
They serve the powers to be.

    Reply

  26. So true, Adina. Professional instigators have been found at Peace meetings & rallies all over America. They have been exposed on several occasions. The peace movement is well organized on many levels and while there are some genuine anarchists, most of the ones that pushed for crowd violence were exposed as govt. plants. Any call to violence should be a red flag. For example, there was an anti war march in San Francisco before Shock & Aweful. 100,000 people and their kids showed up for a peaceful march, However, at the end of it were some window breakers – in the evening after many had already gone home. What was on the t.v. news that night? Yes, windowbreakers.

I agree that violence only serves the powers that be.
