Solar stoves really work good. I know what to ask for come High Holy days in December. Excellent for carrots and potatoes too. I will also suggest growing wheatgrass. The juice will supply your blood with rich chlorophyll. I admit, my goal is to hav a years supply of food, just like the Mormons! Who knew?! I might add, cooking them on a solar stove. As though they had marinated all day. Times are a changing and quickly. People of Haiti ate dirt. It is hard to imagine, but then it was probably hard to imagine the lack of necessities suffered by Iraqis and too many others to list in this little writiing box. Cause and effect are one Universal truth that have nothing to do with religions. There are truths that pertain to life that are separate from belief systems and this is what we must strive for as a species. Religions foment hate and fear of "other" than ourselves. The truth is that Life: body, mind, spirit exists with or without religion. As I see it, religions try to lay claim to the truth that is life, for their own power and profit.
