They are purposely maintained ignorant through an external mechanism paradoxically called "education".They are kept busy, worried, taxed, and "entertained". We humans are a complex species. Our future is not written in stone. It is written in sand and can be washed away and re-written at any time.

It also sounds like all the kids at the public pool where I just came from, David! I would be laughing if it weren't so serious. After getting bullied because he is still learning to swim, my kid turned around and bullied someone else when he got the chance at the playground! A vicious cycle. One which makes me very unhappy. I am trying to heal all of the wounds I inherited from my own family and trying to bring up a good conscientious kid and it is not a simple thing in this world. <br /> <br /> Cheers! Moi?! What happened to "The American Way"? People became complacent, took the Democratic experiment for granted so quickly. People thought it was over with Nixon. I see know that some things never changed; fascists merely shrunk to the fringes. Now the fascists rule once again. And those peace-loving masses are on the fringes. They have even given us "free speech zones" which are literally cages, far from the matting crowd, where we can scream all we like. Oh people, we are the majority..how to slay this dragon? Kill them with love? Love is the greatest power in the Universe, non? Peace, G.
