They Shall Reap The Whirlwind

Religion clearly demonstrates just how gullible human beings are, just how easily they can be manipulated.

Down through history, various religions have come and some have gone and they’ve all had millions of devoted, fanatical followers. Even the amazing progress of science and education has not deterred believers at all. In their billions, they still willingly choose wishful thinking over reality, still support the institutions which take their money. Meanwhile, without conscience, clerics continue the divisive fraud that all religion is.

Our political masters, realizing the infinite gullibility of humans, are now cashing in on this weakness while shoring up and increasing their own power.

Democracy is being eroded daily by those who cite the ‘we’re fighting terrorism’ mantra. They indoctrinate everyone without mercy, without regard for truth. They embrace nuclear militarism as a means of maintaining both international and domestic advantage. And most citizens, who are supposed to be ‘educated’, do not have the intellectual skills or will to resist.

Our Corporate masters, who worship profits, are following suit. Greed is being promoted as a virtue even if it is destroying our world. Humans are being pulled every which way by those who would exploit them for their money, who want control of their minds and lives. Others simply want to promote their own deviant minority agenda regardless of the negative societal impact.

Crunch time is coming. The whirlwind is on the horizon, building, building. Six months, a year, perhaps a few more, and the unravelling of our world will have passed the point of no return (assuming it already hasn’t). We will enter a state of perpetual wars over food, clean water and scarce economic resources as well as wars between religions, economic systems, racial/tribal groups, poor and rich nations, the haves and have-nots within individual societies and those with differing sexual agendas , etc.

Batten down the hatches, friends. It cometh as surely as the dawn!

  1. Religion is just a name for one form of inculcated ‘faith-based’ belief systems. There are many others, notably patriotism, that demand unquestioning acceptance of their myths and dogmas. To a very large extent, capitalism itself is a quasi-religious concept.

In this respect, as in many others, the alleged progress of the ‘civilised world’ is highly questionable. It is at least arguable that the aincient Greeks and Romans held more open-mindedly inquiring views about the universe as they perceived it at the time.

Indeed David. Anyone taking any notice of Her Majesty’s Federal opposition” can see how gullible we really are.To wit, the Iguana night club fiasco.

It is not bad enough the two waste of space individuals concerned have been sprung, for being the jumped up tools they are,the opposition is making them out to be the devil in carnate.

If getting on the piss, and making a gold plated prick of oneself was a crime, most of us would be doing life.

They all indeed not only treat us with contempt, but know they can get away with it.

The planet is being destroyed as we speak, and as an aside my anger watching more soldiers being shipped home in coffins from Afghanistan, made me want to scream, and this is the sum total of the politicians, who we pay a kings ransom, to daily insult our intelligence.

    I bloody despair.

  3. Arvy, to many, capitalism is a form of religion and I agree that the Ancient Greeks certainly left us for dead regarding inquiring minds. Sheeple best describes most folk in our world.

Betmo, we are moving into another Dark Age. Aware people need to prepare.

Phill, I too ‘bloody despair’. How can we allow this nonsense to continue?

    Your statement….

“We will enter a state of perpetual wars over food, clean water and scarce economic resources as well as wars between religions, economic systems, racial/tribal groups, poor and rich nations, the haves and have-nots within individual societies and those with differing sexual agendas , etc.”

…is pretty much on the money…. Even my less pessimistic mind set can agree with you that we humans are setting the stage for a chaotic future…….

We live in a finite world however nature has programmed us through our genes to look at the planet as if it were an infinite resource base….

We humans are by “nature” greedy, arrogant, combative and highly competitive. These traits got us this far but they are now proving to be a danger to our continued survival…

The only concern to nature is survival. Nature makes no ethical or moral judgement as to the method or consequences of a species survival.

If we humans create societies where the majority live in misery then that is just too bad….

If we go to the extreme and end all live on this planet nature world not skip a beat.

Nature has an almost infinite universe to continue its evolutionary progress.

The extinction of all life on this small planet would be of no consequence.

Our future is in our hands. We must come together as a species and citizens of planet earth and carve out a future where life is enjoyable and fulfilling or we suffer the consequences.

The final chapter of human history has not yet been written. Until then we have a chance to do good no matter how slim.

Everyone with a conscience and a desire for a better world should do what they can no matter how small to influence how the next chapter in human history will be written.

Blogs like this one are a small part of the greater mosaic and there are thousands of blogs like this one each chipping away at the negative side of human nature.

The death of “Our Corporate masters…” will come by the way of a thousand stings from people like you and blogs like this one……

Keep up the good work, every epic change in history required its prophets crying in the wilderness……

  5. David, I have a sneaking feeling that our corporate, political and religious masters don’t care much about outcomes. Their only concern is to maintain or increase their own wealth and power.

Perhaps the ending of our world via global warming and/or nuclear war might force a change in their deranged, greedy thinking.

However, it’ll all be too late then!
