Abbas Helps Israelis With West Bank Occupation.

"Some of Abbas’s Traitors."

Folks, I was floored this morning when I read this report on Al Jazeera. It fair took the wind out of my sails.

It seems that Abbas and his illegal government (Hamas was democratically elected, remember) is putting together a security force that will work with the IDF to keep the peace in the West Bank city of Jenin, the one where an infamous IDF massacre took place. The AFP photograph shows them setting up their new quarters. Nablus already has such a force it appears.

Now, I’m used to irony happening in this part of the world but surely this must be the greatest piece of irony that has occurred during the long struggle of the Palestinians to free themselves from their brutal forty-year occupation. Yasser Arafat  must be writhing in his grave at this further sell-out to the Israelis.

So all you freedom fighters in the West Bank, be warned. Abbas and his new militia will arrest you if you are seen fighting for your country and your freedom so you’d better take up knitting!

Of course, Abbas thinks that by grovelling to his Jewish masters, by toadying, by profusely kissing Israeli and American bums, by shaking Bush’s hand, that, not only will he bigtime himself, but he will also achieve a sovereign Palestine State. Not only is he a traitor but he is  also deranged.

Yes, by promoting the split between Hamas and Fatah and by giving a few crumbs to the fawning Abbas, Israel has created a divide among Palestinians that, without Abbas, it could’ve only dreamed about. Further, it now has Palestinians helping with its occupation. This creation of a new branch of the IDF is laughingly called ‘Operation Peace and Hope’.

Keep in mind the following statement: Israel has emphasized that "ultimate security responsibility will remain in Israel’s hands." This can be translated as: "We’ll allow you to help us with our occupation of your land and the crushing of your people and our genocide but we’ll call all the shots." I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry!

I think this might be the point when I give up on the Palestinians. Perhaps they deserve what they’re getting.

  1. It is the old divide and conquer strategy. Every society has what I call crumb snatchers, folks in the lower economic strata who will enforce the will of the folks in the upper strata for the crumbs cast their way by the folks in the upper strata.

This is how the ruling classes who are always in the minority have controlled the masses throughout history.

This method of controlling the masses by the ruling classes has occurred in every society to some degree.

The masses never catch on. Even a revolution only replaces one ruling class with another and the game goes on.

Never a truer word spoken. The ruling class have never found any problem finding one half of the working class, to bash up the other half, and as you say it has always been so.

Never have I sen that any clearer than in the different unions I have belonged to in my own life time. They are full of “Agent Provocateurs” and brown nosers, who would sell out their own mother, if the price was right.

Of course all this can be extrapolated into world politics, these bastards are getting away with all this murder and mayhem,on our own class of fellow travelers, in this case the poor Palestinians, because we have all been guilty of listening to the propaganda that spews out the hate,in the western media.

In some cases the C.E.O.’s of these media empires, the lying bastards, should be arrested and tried for high treason, and crimes against humanity.

But I aint holding my breath.

  3. Phill, the picture that’s forming in my mind regarding the human race is not a pretty one.

I started my life thinking idealistically, thinking that humans were great and were capable of greatness. Life has taught me a lot of harsh lessons. It is still doing so.

Sometimes I feel that I should close myself off from the world because involvement with it is pulling me down.

    Cheers.

    David,
I started life always being cynical and suspicious, and I have seen nothing to change my point of view.

At the risk of seeming like a smarmy smart arse, I knew the world was in the crapper, when I was in my twenties.I had already worked out all was not well in the state of Denmark, and was ridiculed for it by some of my peers.

I really thought when we finally dumped Howard that the penny had dropped, shame on me. Nothing of much will change, the population in the main are a lot of greedy bastards.I watched Insight the other night on the A.B.C. about people doing it tough, (so called) they should try living in the Gaza strip or Somalia.

Look to the U.S. that they are really considering putting Hillary Clinton in the Whitehouse defies all logic, the wife of a serial philanderer and lier.Who has been caught out herself red handed, bullshitting to the masses.

We are living beyond our means, true some more than others, and there are genuine cases of poverty. The health system in Australia when you consider how rich we are is a scandal. But there is always money for politicians to go on fact finding missions to exotic places like venice to achieve fife fiths of F.A.

But the bottom line is it’s about the worlds life blood,Texas Tea and other resources, and when they have all gone? well that’s the problem ? The toe rags that run this madhouse, think it can be exploited like it has been for another thousand years, when we have best part destroyed it in two hundred.

Like you I despair. But to give up is to accept it,and I aint doing that.

David you have to learn to mellow out,I use to be like you, only difference is I’ve punched a few conservatives in my time,ha ha. felt good but expensive.

    Cheers

  5. Not being a physically aggressive person, I haven’t had the joy of punching out the sources of my frustration, Phill. Perhaps I should try it!

All I have to do is to accept that I can’t change anything and that the pen is NOT mightier than the sword (that was B.S. too). Cheers.

No David you shouldn’t, I made the mistake of thinking the dude I wacked had the courage of his convictions? I was wrong. It gave my wife and I many sleepless nights I can tell you.

Is all I did was lower myself to the mentality of the idiot I was having the barney with.

Fortunately I fronted up to the beak with a piece of A4 (my record,) with nothing on it.He dismissed it.

He winked at me no shit, obviously a man of the world. Not all judges are out of touch with the society’s we live in.

Ah no fool like an old fool, so the saying goes.

Now I do my fighting as you do with the old p.c.

    Cheers.
